WalterF Report post Posted January 28 Finished a holster to be mounted with the belt piece. I was told it is a home defense piece that he and his wife want to get too when in the living room. He is going to mount it to a piece of furniture. The requirements were a little different, full trigger cover, spare mag, and mountable. Making the holster with the clip on the top of the piece allows both access to it, it was a Glock so it had a nice flat top slide. The holster is thick for rigidity, wet formed for looks retention is not a requirement, yet it doesn't hinder removal. This was a fun build.

bladegrinder Report post Posted January 28 Looks great, I don't have kids so mine just sits on a table next to me but that's a great idea.

Brokenolmarine Report post Posted February 9 Hiding firearms around the house? A gun in every room? It's like some people think the world isn't safe anymore. I spent nearly thirty years in law enforcement after my Marine Corps career, and those folks are... Right. Good Job.
dikman Report post Posted February 9 At least in the US you can take steps to protect/defend yourself, here in Oz it's illegal to do so. Neat job, Walter (better than using duct tape under the table ).

Neat job, Walter (better than using duct tape under the table ). It's only illegal if the law finds out about it . . . Not encouraging illegal actions . . . Just stating the fact . . . May God bless, Dwight
