Thanks for that, I like it.

Thanks Jon, The black background is done with the E294 series background tools. The white background is done with the pebble tools from Springfield leather, although I see a similar tool at Tandys (M884), I think its the same tool but not certain. Im currently learning to airbrush, so I hope I can add more shading and artistic dying and painting to my leatherwork soon. The hammer logo is from the Sign of the Hammer album cover and depicts a stylized hammer of Thor and the Valkyries wings.

Here is my latest Manowar back patch. Its a single large back patch to go onto a bike jacket. It measures 17 in tall and 14 in across the top and tapers to 10 in along the bottom.

Best wishes for you! I hope you do well. Maybe you could have a stall at rallies?

Very neat work. I like the effect on the first cuff pictures. How did you get that effect? The horse hair used in leather projects is a great idea for those with horses, to use the hair of your own horse. I have yet to try sewing through sheepskin/fur onto leather. Must be hard to see whats going on?

Thanks All. I just used Fiebings Oil dyes for the black and red, no acrylics on this one. To get the dapth, I cut quite deep, bevel, background and then the important step is to gently re-bevel around the letters to make them stand out more.

Thanks:) Its a free font called Gutteral. If you search for it you may find it or I could send it to you if you like it. I printed it out onto film to use as a pattern. I forgot to say, It's a fixed length strap, the ends are loosely based on a tamplate I found on here somewhere but I cant remember who posted it (sorry). I made the taper a little longer and used a slightly different radius for the ends.

Here is my 2nd guitar strap (first tooled one) for the London based band Stuka Squadron. The letters are GD Cox (for Gravedigger Cox). Hope he likes it! Still trying to get the hang of taking photos of straps.
