  1. New set for myself just finished and installed on my sporty. Seatpan is a LePera Barebones with a couple layers of actual saddle foam for a more comfortable seat. Bitch pad is an HD sporty pan torn apart, trimmed down, and recovered to match. Closeup of the lacing
  2. I have that pattern as well. Bighouse Daddy has a number of great patterns that are all adaptable to a crafters needs.

    Braiding 101

I do a fair amount of braiding with paracord. I get mine from www.supplycaptain.com . Great prices, fast turnaround (even up here to Canada) and always seems to have the various colors in stock.
  4. Nicest board I've ever seen. I really like the color choices. Looks natural yet still has the necessary definition necessary for the game.
  5. HOLY SHIrT!! That stuff is off the hook. What a find Roo, thanks for posting the link.
  6. Couldn't have said it any better myself!!
  7. Thanks. LOL, nope, nothing else Ken. At least not yet. Thinking thru the mechanics of articulation for sholders and knees tho.
  8. Very nice Pete. Beautiful attention to detail in the tooling. Wish I could tool that good.
  9. I love the coloring. Roo, you've probably been asked this question before but ...... do you use a liner on your masks? If so, what do you use?
  10. uuhhh ..... great minds think alike??
  11. I'm a backgammon fanatic and I can tell you, that is the nicest board I've ever seen. If I may suggest, go easy on the coloring. The natural look of that board is hard to beat.
  12. Thanks Tom. Those small d-rings are from Leather Factory. As for the edges, I'm kinda anal about burnishing all exposed edges.
  13. Very cool!! I like these.
  14. Thanks freak. Nope, never made 'em before but sure was a fun project.
  15. Steppin' outta my comfort zone and tried something ........ different. My first set of bracers.
  16. Wow!! A lotta work went into those. Beautiful!
  17. Excellent info on carpal tunnel, Roo. Will definitely be helpful to some of the folks here.
  18. You can also try Murphy Whips in Australia. I've purchased from them and found the pricing and quality very good. http://www.murphywhips.com/LAC1123mmKangarooHide.html
  19. Those are beautiful sets. My wife loves the pink and my fav is the brown set in the same post. Thanks for showing these.
  20. Damn, I hate hearing this stuff. I don't have carpal tunnel but I do have some arthritus (spelling?) in my hands. There are times when I just have to stop working on leather for a week or 2. When you see the doc, have him/her check for arthritus as well. I say that because from what I understand, carpal tunnel is in the wrist and should not make the hands swell up. Good luck and keep us posted on the results. (edited to fix spelling error of Good)
  21. Here's mine, such as it is, and freshly cleaned up just for the photos. Posting, research, tooling and stamping area: Design, layout, and tracing area: Cutting, dying, burnishing, hole punching, and anything that makes a mess or smell: Machine sewing area :
