  11. Thanks folks! I'm proud and touched with your posts. Leather Bum, I trace the pic on a tansfer (paper with the picture) with a pencil over the leather dap and after I used the bevelers tools, and you are right, sometimes I use a marker (felt-tip pen) instead of acrilic paint. The colour is not drawn but the photograph a little because tha leather is not polished.
  12. David, is a very light vegetable tanned leather and the photo have a little more brightness than in reality it is. The colour could be a light beige.
  13. A new section showing the history of leathercraft and leathercrafters from the beginning to nowadays with pics and articles, something look like a virtual museum with photos. I would like to read any time the old catalogues of Baron tools or Kelly tools, the ethnic leatherworks from every state or countries, look for any old sewing machine or a leathergood made 200 years ago.

I'm so sorry but I have not pics of me eating the galician pancakes (filloas), but I can show you other photos of our local piper, my friend eating the stuff (Neptune eating her son) and another specialities of our tipycal food: the ears of pig bolied and norway lobters or crayfish. If you eat any time the octopusy with filloa and our wines you can't live without eat it every day. I destilled whiskey at home with corn, barley and malt, I like it my whiskey!
  17. In Galicia, at northwest from Spain, we have a mixed celtic and european spanish culture. We cook our crêpes or pancakes over a hot stone, we called her filloa. We also cook over the hot stone mushrooms, fish flambeed with galician white wine, hamburguers, potatoes, eggs, meat, ... and octopusy (with spanish paprika called pimenton and spanish olive oil). Bo proveito, Bon apetit!
  18. My old friend, leather artesan and craftman master Miro Magariños taught to me a few years ago how to make animal faces in leather for key rings (here we use often colt leather for leatherworks). I have lost in any box the pattern. I hope you like it.
