Saddle Identification please
Northmount replied to Janis's topic in Saddle Identification, Restoration & Repair
I rode bareback for years as a kid cause I couldn't afford a saddle. I remember riding someones horse with a saddle one day. Couldn't get the feel, was bouncing all over the place. Had to kick my feet out of the stirrups! Then my ankles were getting clobbered by the stirrups flapping all over the place. Wasn't too interested in a saddle anymore! -

It would be a good idea to post each machine in a separate thread. Then as each is sold, the thread can be archived in Old/Sold. Your original post in this thread is fine. It keeps the context for the series of posts. Good luck on the sale of these machines. (Now if I had the space and wasn't so far away, I would be sorely tempted! I already have to many things and too much to do.)

@Silky You must post a price and give clear information about the condition of the machine(s). Read the rules for the marketplace and comply.

How to wire rocker switch on Artisan servo motor
Northmount replied to ValinorKings's topic in Leather Sewing Machines
@ValinorKings Moved your post to leather sewing machines. This is a case where it helps to take photos or make notes as you are disassembling the wiring, etc. Then you can simply follow your notes/photo to reassemble. This is a double pole single throw switch (DPST). It breaks or closes both the supply and neutral lines at the same time. Can't see the switch rocker as there is no photo to compare the orientation of the rocker compared to the orientation of the terminal tabs. So that makes it difficult to accurately describe what to do! This switch looks like yours. (If the tabs are inline with the rocker, the diagram is still accurate for the connections.) Start with the cable that comes from the plug. One wire is hot (red), the other is neutral (blue). (The green safety ground wire is attached to the housing somewhere and you can ignore it as it isn't switched.) So follow the diagram. Input is from your plug cable. Hope this helps.- 2 replies

Bleepingcomputer.com update "We are reviewing log files which we have received from affected customers to further characterize the attack and the mechanism of access. The log files we have reviewed show that the attackers directly connected to the affected My Book Live devices from a variety of IP addresses in different countries. This indicates that the affected devices were directly accessible from the Internet, either through direct connection or through port forwarding that was enabled either manually or automatically via UPnP." -
Best way to flatten coasters after stamping?
Northmount replied to BDAZ's topic in How Do I Do That?
Don't want too heavy a weight, and don't want to place anything with a texture on the leather. So a piece of poly and a book works fine. -
@jynelle Hasn't been on the site since May 10th. Since I tagged her/him you may get an answer back.

You should provide some method whereby you can be reached if you are really interested in working with them.

Northmount replied to noahjoshu's topic in Old/Sold
Not very likely as the link is dead! This thread is now archived. -
Add some photos and more description and you may get some attention. You should also read the Marketplace Rules and comply. The post above really doesn't do justice.

Over-size so you can trim all edges evenly. Can also use staples to hold pieces together as long as you leave the little extra space to trim if off after.
