  8. HEIC files are a proprietary picture format owned and used on Apple products. They do not display on many computers and smart devices so if you post them here, you are limiting your audience and therefore the likelihood of getting good responses to your post. Current versions of Windows 10 + have an add on that allows the photos to be viewed in Windows "Photo" app. However it will not let you save or convert HEIC files to your device. You can set your device to save files in JPG format so you can upload without going through a bunch of hassles to find and install a converter. There is a free converter at https://heic.imobie.com/heic-to-jpg/ that will do online conversions or you can download a converter for your PC. The online converter didn't work for me, but the PC version worked very slick. An alternative that apparently works, but I haven't tried is: "Open your Gmail and attach the pictures. They will automatically convert to JPG. Once you open your mail and download the files to your device." More info is available at https://www.maketecheasier.com/convert-heic-jpg-windows10/
  9. Downloaded the heic files, converted, and uploaded here. If users will upload jpegs everyone will be able to view them on almost any system/OS. Apple product users can set their devices to save files as jpeg/jpg avoiding all these issues. It takes a lot of time for me to do this conversion, lots of hassles with incompatible files and applications. This will be the last file conversions I will do. I will put a pinned thread in the Computer Help Forum. https://leatherworker.net/forum/topic/98380-heic-picture-files-convert-to-jpeg-before-posting/
  10. I use a body work hammer with a relatively flat face, even has some marks on it, no damage to the leather since it's a light tap, and dry. Have had it for years after doing some body work on a couple vehicles.
