  1. Report by OP, no longer for sale due to some problems. Archived!
  2. Seller's IP address is located in Chicago, Illinois, 60645
  3. Seller's IP address is located at Chicago, Illinois, 60645
  4. @ldav Same comments as on your other post. Put your photos here to start with, etc. You might like to list this under "Business and Estate Sales"
  5. @ldav Your link to imgur points back to this post so is useless. You should be posting your photos here. If they are too large, you should reduce the file size to something like 1024x768 or so. You need to post your location as to where you are in this universe. You need to identify any shipping information. You need to read the marketplace rules and conform to them. You need to provide prices for each item in your list.
  6. @bruce johnson Bruce is also available here on LW
  7. Some info here https://www.deviantart.com/azmal/gallery The OP hasn't been back here for over a year. This is a perfect example of why photos and files should posted here instead of using 3rd party hosting. Any changes in permissions or locations result in dead links making the thread almost useless.
  8. You need to resize your photos to fit the size restrictions. See this post for several suggestions and helps. Moved your post from leather sewing machines to Marketplace>Items For Sale>Machinery -- Sewing and Stitching>Used. This is where we post machines for sale. You can review the marketplace rules here.
  9. Meghan ... why don't you join the group (leatherworker.net) and post a few of the saddles that are in better shape and see if there is any interest from the group in purchasing any of them? If you join, you can post without having to wait for a moderator to approve your posts. All members who respond to Help Wanted posts, their posts have to be approved as well. If you weren't so far away from me, I might even pick up one of them.
  10. @Techsew Ron Your attention is required.
  11. Welcome. Check out the leather sewing machine forum for lots of posts and in particular, study this thread.
  12. @TooledByML HEIC files are a proprietary format by Apple so can not be read by many users. Please set your device to upload jpg files. I converted your file and edited your post above.
  13. You can add your location to your profile if you wish to.
  14. @BFaehn Moved your post to Leather Sewing Machines. Have you had a look at this thread?
  15. @Sparkie Moved your post to leather sewing machines.
  16. It's between the Quote and Options button. It's only accessible for a short time, maybe a couple hours. So yes, add additional info as a reply.
  17. @Daniyar15 Please read and comply with the Marketplace Rules. State your location. Post photos. Identify if you will ship and what conditions. If your photo files are too large, they will need to be reduced in size.
  18. @Daniyar15 Please read and comply with the Marketplace Rules. Specify your location. Post photos. Identify if you will ship and what conditions. If your photo files are too large, they will need to be reduced in size.

  20. I'd start a new thread. Probably in the forum "How Do I Do That?" There is a forum Saddles and Tack, but doesn't feel like the right place to me, though I don't think anyone would complain too much about it. Take your pick.
  21. Check out this link for helps and suggestions.
  22. Post your photos here rather than third party hosting.
  23. Moved your post to leather sewing machines. This is where the machine guys hang out and you should get some answers here soon.
  24. Keep your ears and eyes open. Now and then you will hear of someone looking for a clutch motor. I had one a few years ago, and a fellow wanted one, so offered it to him. He was pleased to get it. Edit: Gave it to him, better than dumping it.
  25. Assuming you stay with the orientation above, draw a guide line on the right side (in line with your left stitching line), push the awl through from the left side you have punched, take it slow and see where the point of the awl is just starting to poke through, if not on your guide line, pull back a fraction and adjust your angle to come through right on your line. You don't have to punch so deep that it deforms the leather. Your awl will take you through all the way. Awl needs to be really sharp. You might need a flat jaw pliers to assist pulling the needles through. (No grips in the pliers jaw so you don't wreck the needles.) Either Dwight or Ferg have posted instructions for the way they do stitching in thick leather. Do a search for their posts.
