  1. @Evert Moved your post to leather sewing machines, This is where the sewing machine guys hang out and are much more likely to get a timely response from someone here.
  2. You can add that to your profile. Always nice to know the area a person is from.
  3. Click the link for ebay and you can check it out yourself. It is not the OP's machine as he says above.
  4. Rustic is in South Dakota according to the IP Address.
  5. Thanks for your reply. We'll keep it as is for now. Agree that you want traffic to your site and that this helps. Anytime you want some of your tutorials or other blog posts with lots of good info converted to PDFs and post here, message me. Same goes for anyone else that would like their material converted and posted here.
  6. Pictures in other threads/posts don't stop you from adding pictures in a new thread. Reduce the size to fit the restrictions. Watch the on screen prompts to ensure the picture is uploaded and saved/posted in the post.
  7. Check the link below for helps and suggestions of how to resize photos to post here. Lots of different options. https://leatherworker.net/forum/topic/15122-how-to-post-pictures-on-lw/?do=findComment&comment=551171
  8. Go to this thread for helps on resizing photos. Please post your photos here. https://leatherworker.net/forum/topic/15122-how-to-post-pictures-on-lw/?do=findComment&comment=551171
  9. I assume you realized this thread is 12 years old. If you want to sell your patterns or craftaids, please post them in the Marketplace forum https://leatherworker.net/forum/forum/72-bookspatternsperiodicalsvideos/
  10. Photos not attached. If the photos are too large and wouldn't load, you will need to resize them. There is a sticky under the computer forum with a number of helps and suggestions if you need them.
  11. Hi Nick. Would you give permission for me to make a PDF of your instructions and post them in this thread so they are available regardless of what happens to your site in the future? I'm sure it would be appreciated by others in the future.
  12. @James850 Moved your post to the marketplace, used sewing machines.
  13. Heat it up with a heat gun. That works with others, so worth a test.
  14. SewGood hasn't visited this site since Nov 30, 2020. I'm archiving this post.
  15. Many users cannot open heic picture files. They are Apple proprietary file type. Please post jpg files. You can set your device to save jpg files. Here is the file converted to jpg.
  16. @randyrann moved your post to Business and Estate Sales

  20. Some good info here, so not archiving it. Have locked the thread so it is still available for reference.
  21. Post it on YouTube (or other host). You can make it private if you wish. ( From what I understand, the public in general won't find it, but it is accessible if you know/have the URL.) Then post the link here. Pretty much all videos are too large to fit the size constraints here. This site also doesn't have the necessary interface to display videos. I tried an MP4 in a PM and it couldn't be displayed. As a moderator, I can post large files, so this was a test to see what it would do.
  22. @Azalyne Skye Moved your post to the Marketplace, machinery, etc. since you are selling rather than wanting.
  23. Nice!
  24. Didn't wipe off the grain side for me. I will only use it on the flesh side, silver on black. Otherwise I use pen on the flesh side. Tiny awl pricks or light scratch on the grain side.

You have been asked to post pictures and to conform to the marketplace rules. You have been provided with a link to help you sort out the best way for you to resize your photos so they are small enough to fit here. If you can send pictures, you can likely use the same process to resize your photos by sending them to yourself. Now is the time to do it. Failure to follow the marketplace rules may result in your for sale posts being taken down. Age is no excuse. Plenty of us in the 70s and 80s year old age group manage it. You may be able to get help from a neighbour or someone in your family if you asked.
