Thanks for the info on the W&C. The last few leather orders from Tandy resulted in some less than satisfactory leather. I don't know about their royal meadow but I can get HO for the same price or less and I know the quality will be top notch.

Herman Oak from Montana Leather. I might have to check out some of that W&C. Who sells it one hide at a time?

I've made a few seats with a metal border. I really like the look of leather and metal and with the rivets I get at the hardware store the seats are very durable.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.My wife is veerry understanding.

no tube, just some of the wife's yoga mat for padding.

Great job Shirley! Somebody should send a pic of it to the Marine Corps Commandant.

I have one Barry King beveler and a bunch of Craftools that are almost 40 years old. I use 1 or 2 bevelers for most of my stuff and the Crafttool ones carry most of the load. I made a beveler out of an old swivel knife blade and it works pretty well for small areas. If somebody has a real need I would send them the BK beveler free of charge as I don't really use it that often.

Nice work Beav! The design really pops.. oh,yeah, great to have you back!
-
Top notch as usual, special order?

Thanks Dave! I ditched my BK beveler and used my old Craftool on this one. The thing is he got a hold of me a couple months ago to cover a seat, then I didn't hear from him again until last week. No problemo! Just squirt some fix-a-flat in it!

I like 8-9oz. as I like to show no mercy and go deep. -
Sure, check it out I bend my pans with a kind of flat spot on the bottom of the curve, that's where I put the tube.

Thanks everyone. Tom, the basic border design was with the art he sent, I just embelished it a little. ShirleyZ,there's a Razor scooter innertube in it in the widest part and 3 layers of my wifes old yoga mat take up the slack in the front. Here's a bottom view;

Thank you, I know my buddy's hoping it is!

Thanks, the eyes were open a lot more on the original art, I thought it would look better slightly open. I changed the moustache and added the goatee, also.
