  1. I love the shirt idea! How about the septic service dude whose business card read; Your shit is my bread and butter.
  2. Looks great, now dye it black! Doesn't it make you want to go upside someone's head when they want it black.
  3. Belt looks good. I know what you mean about the neverending quest for artwork.
  4. Good question that I don't know the answer to. Maybe someone who has more experience like Dave or Beez or maybe one of the saddlemakers on here could answer that.
  5. Thanks. I used Fiebing's oil dye thinned out with some reducer.I've put color on seats in the past and it wears off pretty quick.
  6. I was looking at the seat I made for my bike and thought the rivets were too close to the edge, so I made a new seat with the rivets closer to the inside.I think it looks better. In another thread on this board abn mentioned that my work had some black but left the leather natural. Well I put some color on it for a change. I know it will wear off rather quickly but that's cool, I can deal with it. The first is on the left. I got my greasy hands on the second one when I was installing my new set of kickstarter gears.I should have waited to put it on after I was done. I have a couple more items I made but the people haven't received them yet, so I'll post them later.
  7. Nice tooling. Nice bag, too, is there something in it to help it keep it's shape?
  8. Looks great! I would dye it black, .......just kidding. Some oil and antique would be about right.
  9. Texas seems pretty cool, although I like the different seasons. I'm in the middle of the People's Republic of Illinois and have been thinking about moving north back to Wisconsin but that seems to be turning into another "worker's paradise" state. At any rate, wherever I would chose to live I would make sure there is a drag strip within a reasonable distance, say, 1-2 miles or closer!

First carving my eye! Looks good, kind of reminds me of my chihuahua, the ears anyway.
  11. Those are really cool! I love green especially flourescent, neon eyeball frying green. Great job.
  12. What can I say that hasn't already been said. That saddle is drop dead gorgeous. I'm a chicken typer ,too, hunt and peck. Oh yeah, welcome!
  13. I would "get the look" also but it's a different kind of look. Nice work.
  14. I won't say anything,I don't want you to lose that customer base. Or you could try using 60w Harley oil!
  15. Thanks, abn. I tried some color on some earlier seats and I found it didn't hold up well at all. Although I love full color art, I also love black and white illustration and I think simple natural colored leather, with or without black, and some sort of contrast or highlight just looks better with age. I want people to run my stuff and beat the crap out of it, for a long time, and not worry about color rubbing off. And when it does wear out I'll do it again.
  16. That's really cool,Luke! I still want to read the book on the Booze Fighters, I believe the name is "The Original Wild Ones". I read a snippet somewhere where a member said they were more about bar fights and speeding tickets than anything else.
  17. I think we would do just fine if you get the clowns in Washington out of the way and let the military do what they're paid to do.
  18. Thanks, it's just a little Fiebing's dark brown antique.
