I've have a box of scrap I can send. Nothing fancy but if it will help you out, send me your address and I'll put it in the mail. I was USAF in the early '80's. Thanks for your service to our country! -

Super neato, Tina! Very original! May I ask what you used for the white? -
Looks great for a second attempt! Making something out of cloth that fits is hard enough but leather just increases the amount of difficulty. The fact that it's on a good looking woman doesn't hurt either. Three lovely ladies there and my wife said especially the brunette in the middle. Nice work.

I'm flattered that I've been identified with a style! I was thinking of trying some Chicago screws for my next seat. Now if only the pictures were visible....

I saw these pieces on the Jockey Journal Friday art show and thought they look good.Welcome to the board, now post a pic of your bike!

Very nice! Although it looks good natural I don't think it loses much being black. It still has that 3-D quality about it. Of course, it will look really cool after it's been worn in and subjected to some abuse, imho.

If the customer likes it that's what really matters. I've tried some of the new eco stuff and don't care for it. Try using Fiebing's Oil dye, good stuff. Lately I've been using the Bic equivalent of Sharpies with very good results. -
Elvis smoked?

My Seat and how to cover it ???
bustedlifter replied to SusanC's topic in Motorcycles and Biker Gear
Cool, I see it has a kicker ,that's good. Some shorter shocks, small round air cleaner, remove the reflectors from the frontend and shave the legs .... Have you ever checked out the Jockey Journal? -

Got a pic of that bike? Is it an ironhead or an evo? -
I think it just wears off rather quick. Like wolvenstien, I use the Aussie stuff, after a light coat or two of some quality motor oil.

Now your speaking my language! If it doesn't work out, could you try a solo seat that hugs the frame and has a lower profile? -

Government is WAY too big and, in it's current state, not what the founding fathers had in mind. I'm still waiting for the candidate that says" I will uphold the Constitution of the United States and govern within the confines of it." There hasn't been a decent presidential candidate since Ronald Reagan, imho. I like Sarah Palin, too bad she's running with McCain. I thank Sen. McCain for his service to our country, he certainly sacrificed more than most can comprehend, but I don't agree with a lot of his positions. I think Palin/Nugent(as in Ted) would be a good ticket in 2012!

Or you could try an inner tube.
