I'm a pup next to that, 4 years this past New Years Day. Got a driving under the influence on 1 Jan. 2004 on my bike, well, off the bike actually and I decided I like riding a whole lot more than drinking. Oh yeah, nice job on the flask!

Nice job, the tooling on small designs can be tricky but you pulled it off. -
Thanks for the kind words. I love this board because there are some very talented people on here, people who I think are far more talented than I am but I think I've found my niche. I like all the different styles, beginner to pro, posted here and those saddlemakers just freakin' amaze me!

Thanks Ken. So did you get some innertubes yet?
-
:D Whatever would make you think that? It's cool when people can recognize your work.

Did it look like this?

Thanks, I don't know, haven't seen it. Is it black with a tan like design?

Thanks, I find it hard to believe you forgot about me ha ha. I 'm finally getting the shape of the pan down so that the tube is kind of sunk down into it. If you want to try it I can show you the shape of the pan. Thanks outcast! -
It has a little Razor scooter innertube in it, very comfy.

Nice post and nice work! I dig chicks in leather.I think the bikini shot would look great with a .45 Colt revolver hanging on the hip in a heavily tooled holster, imho. Were you the model? -
Cool, are those upholstery tacks? I like metal with leather.
-
I was wonderng that too, now I know. Dig it!

my petal rollovers are all horribly flat topped
bustedlifter replied to Brass's topic in Floral and Sheridan Carving
Brass, go to a Hobby Lobby or someplace like it and pick up a modeling tool, they can be had pretty cheap. Screw a bunch of tools, I can count on one hand the tools I use on 90% of my projects. Also get some good quality packing tape and put that on the back of your projects to be tooled, works great! One more thing, check with places that do countertops or headstones.Sometimes you can score some marble or granite, cheap.I obtained a piece of granite{18"x12"x11/2"} from a place that salvages stuff from old buildings for $20.00. -

I agree, looks good to me, maybe just round the edges a bit with a modeling tool. -
my attempt at a "green" wallet
bustedlifter replied to abn's topic in Purses, Wallets, Belts and Miscellaneous Pocket Items
Looks good! But as far as the "green thing is concerned check this site out; www.junkscience.com -
but think I still prefer the "el natural amundo" look over the stained or dyed look. Some black dye for accent or background and leather glow for highlighting then letting it age naturally is probably the way I'll go. Unless the customer throws a wrench in the works and wants it all black.

Dye it black. Just kidding!
