  7. I hope you get it sorted out, by the sounds of it they knew what was there and targetted your tools. Kevin
  8. Thanks everyone, I'm excited, I bought it off ebay as my Tandy don't/won't carry it for some reason. Kevin
  9. I just opened a 4oz jar, first time I've ever seen it and its like a little jelly cake surrounded by (separated) liquid. Is this normal? Just stir it up and voila? Thanks a ton, Kevin

  12. I have a couple of questions about Springfield and customers from Canada. First off this is not a review, nor am I trying to stir any pots. I'm trying to solve a communication problem I've been having. A few months ago I registered, browsed the site, added a few things to my basket, reviewed the basket with shipping etc. The site suggests that the shipping may not be 100% accurate, to contact for confirmation etc etc. So, I had a few other questions and decided to contact them via the website link, wrote my message and submitted it. I got confirmation the message was sent. Weeks and weeks went by with no response, eventually I just gave up. About 2 weeks ago I did the same thing, thinking it may have been an isolated occurance as sometimes things fall through the cracks. This time I decided to follow up with a phone call. I was at work so I tried it from my cell, (800#) it didn't go through, so I thought it may not be permitted by my cellular provider. I got home from work and decided to try again from my home phone, no dice. As of today still no reply via email. I don't really want to call long distance if it isn't necessary. Can anyone offer suggestion? Anyone from Canada able to call the 800# and or get a response via email? Thanks a ton Kevin
  13. Cool and spooky at the same time. Congrats on the items, hopefully you figure out who your "Secret Santa" is. Kevin
  14. Very nice, was this from one of the Tandy patterns? Kevin
  15. I have received confirmation that my 2700 has been shipped and should be here Monday. I have NO experience with a sewing machine. Aside from fighting myself to go to work Monday rather than sit home and wait for it, can you pros toss some pointers my way, do's and don'ts etc I also got thread 100 needles, flatbed attachment and roller guide as well as some spare feet. oil and some bobbins etc. Thank you, Kevin
  16. I picked one of these up on last months sale. The shoulder is very nice surprisingly and I decided to buy one. I immediately noticed there is a creamish colored coating on the flesh side. The TLF worker suggested she was told it had something to do with helping to make a better impression. If anyone can confirm that would be great, however my main concern is 2 things... 1. Will the coating accept dye properly 2. I plan to use it for belts is there any risk of this stuff coming off and transferring to clothing? Anyone have the details on this stuff? Kevin
  17. They are all very impressive, thanks for sharing. I really liked the flow of the enclosure strap on the hunting sheath. Does it get in the way? Kevin
  18. Very clean looking the molded part is superb. I really like it. Kevin By the looks of it it mounts horizontally. Maybe not, hard to tell from pic. Second guessing that now. :S if it doesn't I agree fully. Kevin
  19. Congrats, I didn't figure it would take long to sell even if it made it to ebay. Great job, Kevin
  20. Very nice and clean! Did I mention I love skulls? Kevin

  25. Let's just say when some of the members suggest "leather cuts like butter" I never thought it could feel like that...AND IT CAN... I actually didn't get it finished up tonight, spent the day fishing and the eve rewiring my boat trailer. I can't wait to get back at it though and carve my next project. Kevin Bald... wanna buy me a drink?
