  1. Great picture and advice Oldtoolsniper, definitely something to consider especially since it appears to not take a lot of space.
  2. Thanks for the insight, appears I have a trip to HF in the near future.
  3. A taco press as I have been told it is called basically folds like a book trapping the weapon and leather between the bookends. A flat press is a small horizontal table with a plate on the top and bottom that can be pressed together and clamped trapping the weapon and leather between the two plates. The Blue Gun Store offers these different styles and I was wondering if one has any better qualities than the other.
  4. Recently been thinking of adding a holster press as the need is rising. But what to choose? Space is limited in the shop so a 20 ton jack press is out of the question and not sure why anyone would need one but to each his own. Is there a significant difference between the "taco" style verses the "flat press" style holster presses currently available. They appear to accomplish the same principal but what about sight channel preparation, etc.? Really looking for some of you holster makers to chime in on this one. Thanks in advance for any insight.
  5. Well evidently no one knows where to locate a 3D Tiger stamp but I do appreciate the 74 views. Maybe I need to change my profile picture. Anyway perhaps some one can give some information about Ivan Leather works in Taiwan, they have the stamp I need just not sure about the company.

  11. Looked at the Oxblood, could not tell if it was a dark brown or a dark red. Fortunately the customer called and had a change of heart and decided to go with black instead, good thing I give three days before ordering for cases such as this. Did place an order for 50 as the price was good. Again thanks for the connection, this one goes in my book of contacts.
  12. Camano Ridge Thanks, just what I needed, don't see a dark brown color so the customer may have to compromise. Again thanks. Pounder

    4 Inch Buckles

Good Morning Starting the day off with a strange request, does anymore know of a supplier of 4 inch belt buckles. I have a customer that plays Santa Clause during the season and is looking for a nice 4 inch belt (I got that covered) but also wants a nice buckle or as he said, "not just the plain old buckle." I have searched several sites but do not find anything. Any help would be appreciated. Pounder
  21. Rarely deal with Tandy anymore, that previous two trips to the Indianapolis store resulted in them not having it in stock, the manager said she had ordered these items (zippers) three times and had not received them. She said she could get them from another store and have them shipped to me. I thanked her but declined and found the exact item at JoAnn's for less. I wrote Tandy corporate and asked them to please stock the Indianapolis store which was only forwarded to the store manager who was less than enthusiastic with me. Moral of this story to Tandy, you are not the only game in town. I just wish Tandy Corporate would read these posts.
