    i beleive it would...But i would have to run a test on some veg tan leather if it were me.

    Neats foot oil and sunshine... then Burnish with denmin or canvas cloth will darken it . or if you wanted to you could dye dk brown ..... with an air brush.

    Ray that is a piece of cake.......LOT of Cake. i would sew zippers on to the sides flat, then turn the pouches wrong side out ,stich sides and bottom then turn right side out........have fun.

    I have always refered to it as a "Sam Brown Post". they can be found at your local Tandy.

    as Art said....."you'll hate your self if you dont get a Cylinder Arm machine" and you need to get some more $$$$$. Been there and done that....... P S then again lot of the heavy duty machines have an flat bed table as an accessory.

    Go back and read the post on air-brushes....or.. i use the preval sprayers from tandy or a better paint store.yes it works....

    Ray there are a lot of books out there on holsters...but the best one i have found, there are no patterns tho, just photos. Packing Iorn.... Gunleather of the Frontier West by,Richard C.Rattenbury.......... (just a thought have you looked thru the Time Life Books,there might be some ideas in The Gunfighters....Cowboys books.

    this i have did.....take a lighter and char the leather that is in the perma lock needle. then get the smallest drill bit that will fit in the hole of the needle and twist backwards to remove the leather.
