wolvie.... you know what mildew looks like....
i have seen the same thing before and i was told that is is some of the oil or finish that has came to the surface.
i re oiled it and all was fine . i was making double belts, knife sheathes and holsters.
ED. now i understand............stiching with the sewing machine.......Kevin has the right idea, you'll get it figured out
or as a Cordwainer, your going to have to get an apprentience..........
ED , THAT IS A FINE LOOKING BAG. WHAT TYPE OF LEATHER DID YOU USE.
IF I SAW RIGHT, IT LOOKS GREAT WITHOUT A LINING.
THE REENFORCEMENTS AROUND THE TOP OF THT BAG IS A GREAT IDEA.
Matt : try setting the boot hooks with a 'durable dot line 24' snap setter or with a tublar rivet setter,
you know you will have to be careful not to smash the hooks.........
