  1. akhawkeye.... i have been known to use Mutton tallow- bees wax- a little neetsfoot oil. also if there is a Red Wing shoe store in your town they sell a product that is made by Montana Pitch Blend, water proofer that is an excellent product. also it might be on there shelf as Irish Setter Brand..... YOU COULD USE SOME 2 OZ VEG TAN LEATHER FOR THAT COWS KNEE....

  10. unc101.... Make the drive! take with you what you need to sew, then you will know if it will work. I do know that some of the Adler patch machines use a long needle, that might be what you have to get. Keep checking back on the fourm or send" Art " a pm for help to your questions..

  18. Strapt. I have found what, I think you are refering to. Check out www.smoke-fire.com i looked on the site for the pattern and could not find it, sent an e-mail and they said that they have all size of the patterns. hope this is the one you need...

  23. Rayban... They were made with Wicket & Craig Leather.. Stamping on it was great , no hard spots, finished with oil or leather balm gave me a fine look. If you have not used the W & C do your self a favor and get a side. The color i got was pre dyed, Chestnut..
