better be glad the leather that you are using is not tanned in Mexico.
try sealing the leather with super sheen........use the Preval Sprayer to spray with.
tft that is the only one that i know anything about...
buy the pattern......make a hat...........then start cutting, taking away or adding
to it untill you like what you see. wish i was of more help to you.

like the original.
i do know that the older saddles did not have the dee's in them.

Billy out of 28 years of going to the living history events or Rendezvous i have only lost ONE item.
now i dont set up at flea markets , and dont want to.
at some of these events there has been as many a 1100 campsites and as little as 40.
so i guess i have been lucky or i dont go where there is not like minded folks.
