    SNAP, SOME TIMES A RUBBER BALL ,THE RIGHT SIZE PLACED UNDER THE FOOT CONTROL WILL HELP YOU TO MAINTAIN AN EVEN SPEED, ALSO I REPLACED THE PULLEY ON MY SEWMO 205-370 AND IT SLOWED THE MACHINE DOWN TO A DECENT SPEED.

    WADDY, I HAVE USED THE 3/32 CALIF LACE AND DID A DOUBLE CORDIVAN STICH......THE NARROW LACE WILL LAY BETTER.

    the roller snaps look like an item that i would use. i would have to make sure that they are not too heavy or bulky..... a+ on the design and function of the item...

    Johnny, in my Tippmann i use 277 on the top and 207 in the bobbin. this is for thicker leather. if i am sewing 6 to 8 oz i will use 207 on the top.......... the chisel point needle is used for sewing leather and the round point i use for nylon straps... Happy sewing...........my tippimann has a 3 digget # and it is below #500..........

    peter, that is how i do mine this is one i did this week it has the crystal rivets from tandy on it. i also did a whip stich on the brim with pink kangroo lace. the hat is made by "buckaroo hatters". he has a web site if one wants to check it out.

    Whinewine.....Try" Fiebings Leather Sheen", it is designed to be used on leather, and it will work on a flexiable surface.
