  2. Here is a holster I just finished for my brother in law. He wanted on that would hold the clip but he could also remove it. He also wanted to clip the holster on his belt. The belt in the picture is not his. That is one I made for his wife. I made him one just like it but with a basket stamp pattern that matches his holster. Art

  10. I'd say both. It depends on the piece that I'm creating. Some things I get to use my artistic skills and add beauty to function. Others end up being more function. I used to do a lot of artwork but now I try to direct that creativity into my leather work. Art
  11. First off let me say I am in no way associated with this. I just got an email today from Smartflix on their "Leatherworkers University" It's a DVD rental program for leather working. Art http://smartflix.com/store/video/6304/Leat...king-University

  16. About 10 years ago I made my own. I bought some thread and looped them around a cassette case then tied them in the middle then cut the loops. This gave me a ring of one color then I alternated them on a thin rope through the middle. Then I sewed them to a felt pad that I cut to fit my saddle. I have since taken it apart. I am going to remake it. I trimmed it down thinner. I also learned not to put it under the fenders (too bulky). It was a decent first try at it. Art

    Makers Mark

I use a dead blow hammer when I use my maker's stamp. That way I avoid a double image because it doesn't bounce. Art
