  1. Renee, I used a horseshoe stamp twice sideways WHEN I remember, lol. Not that I'm not proud of my things I'm doing but simply forget that step. Your stuff is wonderful and certainly deserves a stamp! Cheryl
  2. Nice job, Randall. I imagine he's very pleased. Cheryl
  3. Renee, those are really awesome.....perfectly made and so attractive. Cheryl
  4. Prince once again you amaze and delight. Cheryl
  5. Thank you Darrin, yes I was trying to imply that. Cheryl
  6. Thanks Joe. My stuff is odd enough to not be everyone's cup of tea, but I am glad people respond to my posts. Cheryl
  7. I don't even know anyone who sells 'blanks' for tack. Other than bronc nosebands. Maybe if you can't find any veg tanned leather blanks online, you might want to post a help wanted ad here. I know for one I'd be willing to make blank veg tanned blanks to your specs. If you do find any online try and stay away from the asian urine tanned, well for obvious reasons. You'll never get rid of the smell. Cheryl
  8. Perhaps if you skived a length of the part folding over and attached to the back? Also wetting it and molding it over might help. I think (I swear I don't remember now) I skived mine. Cheryl
  9. Thanks Renee, I honestly appreciate that. If it touches you I did it right. Sometimes I think it's wrong because my stuff isn't always like others, and I think, I should use a pattern, I should do more Sheridan, I should.....LOL. Again thanks so much, Cheryl
  10. This is something I designed myself because I thought the two leathers went well together. I free hand drew the horse from the internet right onto the patent so it didn't end up centered. One day I'll learn to do something on paper first But I liked it so I went ahead and finished it.
  11. J I too would be interested in seeing the parts you make for the kits. Cheryl
  12. Allan I have a pretty itchy dog and I made her a collar and put lizard on the top and it's been months with no scratch marks. I didn't do it for that reason, just liked the look. Maybe an exotic sewn on top will prevent it in the future. Cheryl
  13. Mikey, the difference between the two is unbelievable. I remember when you made the first one and I though it was beautiful, much better carving and tooling than I could do. But the second one has so much more definition....I'm searching for words here. It looks like you could pick the flowers or leaves right off the holster. Absolutely beautiful job. Cheryl
  14. Now that's something to show off, a first for me. Beautiful work. Cheryl
