I have linked a HSH-1-1 hook regarding their parts number so I guess the picture is wrong.

As I said earlier, I have a CLAES manual in German language. Send me a PN if you are interested. We once collected some pictures of patcher machines in this thread

Pfaff heavy duty saddler's machine?
Constabulary replied to Kohlrausch's topic in Leather Sewing Machines
Pfaff sold machines of other brands (like Adler 5, Class 30...) under PFAFF INDUSTRUIA. I think I somewhere have seen a Adler Class 20 branded with PFAFF INDUSTRIA and I think they also build custom machines, maybe some of them needed 794 needles. Or maybe they just wanted to fill a gap in their needle range. -
I have no such machine but a manual in German language of a Claes patcher which is very close to yours. File is too big to attach here and when I reduce the size the file it is of poor quality so if you are interested send me a PM

Just figured there were SV´s in 1913. Copied from ISMCS list: F- 3705085 3706084 46KSV24 1000 January/June 1913 Clydebank, Scotland So I think Singer always had SV´s of certain machines. Also found on needlebar.org http://needlebar.org/cm/displayimage.php?pid=7758 Note the "formerly known as..." So former SV´s machines became later standard machines. Maybe that was not always the case but at least some times.

Got them along with 45K machines and lots of odds and ends but I have no clue what machine they are fore. Maybe someone else knows.
-
regarding 45K spring - there are 2 version. The old style is a one pice spring # 82454 but they are no longer available. Later type is made of 2 parts / 2 spings which are # 82551 + # 82525 regarding 18-3 shuttle. Seems your shuttle is missing the 2nd screw also - it holds the 2 tension spring. Do you have the 2nd screw and tension springs? However the tension screw on the shuttle seems to be Singer #504033 I guess thats the one you are missing. Did you get my PM?

Both machines are no longer in production the and Company Singer no longer has a factory or a storage facility. If you are looking for original Singer parts p you may have some luck when you contact some of the well known dealers who support this forum. Some may have some old stock parts but most likely most of the parts on todays market are after market parts from China. Some parts from other Singer machine may fit also. But it depends on what you are looking for in particular. Pictures parts numbers or the location (where is it fitted) of the needed parts are always helpful. F.i. I was looking for Singer 34K5 needle bar - no way to find one so I checked the diameter and length and compared I finally figured a needle bar of a Singer 31K and Singer 17 would ft - an after market part of course but it works well! Before I check att the 45K parts list for this spring - where it the tension spring located - pre tension or main tension or shuttle hook?

Sometimes its good to post pictures of the machine / the parts (if available) or pictures from a parts list. Some folks have unknown spare parts floating around and sometimes parts from other machines will fit too. So from just looking at the 42-5 I would guess that the tension unit of a Singer 16 or Singer 17 could fit http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR1.TRC0.A0.H0.Xtension+singer+16.TRS0&_nkw=tension+singer+16&_sacat=0&_oac=1 I think this is the shuttle hook https://www.college-sewing.co.uk/store/HSH11-HOOK-and-BASE-HIROSE

Singer 96-10 Clutchadjust adjustment
Constabulary replied to Gregg Dispoto's topic in Leather Sewing Machines
well, I doubt that there are many LW still using this type of motors. I only see 1 screw where you can adjust the clutch with (2nd picture center left - the one with the nut behind) but do not expect that this system has a smooooooth clutch. If you like the historical aspect try to adjust it - but if not better buy a servo motor instead. -
Pfaff 3334 Box Tack Knife Blade alignment
Constabulary replied to Carlo's topic in Leather Sewing Machines
I have an English instruction manual for the 3334 (but no machine). I can scan it but that may take some days. So here are some pictures with information which hopefully are helpful.- 6 replies

Found another SV on the web - Singer 45KSV99 http://www.jomimachines.co.uk/shop/uncategorized/singer-45k-sv99-industrial-sewing-machine/ Looks like a standard 45k with reverse...

What have you seen at the end of the internet? Maybe Isaac Merritt Singer sits there and says: "Now that you have found me I tell you that I have fooled you all"

I also think the dates list on ISMACS represent the casting date and not the actual machine production date. But that's a guess - of course. Back in the days I don´t think they have even thought a bout "Just in Time" production and logistics and had huge storage sheds and probably produced machines on demand - of course not just one machine at a time but also not necessarily when they did the casting. I don´t think they put the # on the casting when they have assembled the machine - I doubt that. But who knows - lots of speculations...

Here is the Service Manual for 211G567 so it should cover your machine. Difference (I guess is) yours in made in Japan and the 211G567 is made in Germany. Service Manual Singer 211G146_151_157.pdf Hope this helps

I have a few service manuals and a basic operators guide for 211 type machines but not for your particular model so you have to look for similarities. Some file sizes are too large to attach but I will try to reduce the size. Operators Guide: Singer 211 Operators Guide-Small.pdf

34K11 is the heavier one with a 45K head and larger hook - approx same as the Adler Class 6. The other 34K´s I have seen have smaller / lighter heads like Singer Class 17 or 16. My 34KSV5, the before pictured 34KSV4 and a 34KSV6 I know of have an additional "needle bar guide" on the front side but I have seen this on a 34K5 marked machine too (not SV) so I guess the 34KSV5 turned into a later standard 34K5 or SV´s have some special accessories the 34K that came "off the shelf" do not have but thats all a guess. Starts to become a bit confusing....
-
Jep - my 34KSV5 has a J prefix and dates back to 1905. It´still working very well Of course no modern post bed machine with rotary hook but it sews really good!

So here is the bulletin for the Singer 45KSV100 I have - I have turned it into a PDF file. Hope you like it Singer 45kSV100.PDF I also have found a pictures of a Singer 34KSV4 which is almost the same as my 34KSV5 but with shorter post. The other picture is an extract from an Singer add I once have found on Ebay and cut the 34KSV5 part.

depends on what you prefer - the historical value of an "as is" machine or the optical improvement and increase in value of a restored machine. I figured that all of the machines I have restored where were NOT in a condition I would like to keep + use them. And JFTC you have to sell them quickly (you never know) you have a restored machine you for sure get some more $ for it than for an "as is" or "as found" machine. But depends on the point of view.
