Luke, are most of them done in the pre-dyed leather? That's no different to stamp on than non-pre-dyed? Looks might sweet from here!

I would give a power seller with a high feed-back rating the benefit of the doubt and take their word for it that it was an honest mistake. besides, they have offered to make good on the deal, so the ball is in your court. You'll get over this, you're young yet....

Isn't amazing what you can come up with when you're "fooling around"?? I still don't get the "skull kulture", as i like to call it....but that work of yours borders on ingenious....OK, so I went a little far...but I like it!!

Know what ya mean Tom...my problem is I'll be in the middle of a project, then I get this itch to start on another one....and another one.... But the wine carrier is a gift I need by April 19...so you will be seeing it.... Thanks again....

Baird's Leather Secrets, excellent condition. It's a big book, so taking up a lot of space on my shelf.....$75 plus shipping. Al Stohlman's Encyclopedia of Saddle Making, all three volumes. Very good condition, great reference material for leather work, period. Not just saddles. $120 for the set, plus shipping. Buy all four books for $185 plus shipping.

I have all three volumes of Al Stohlman's Saddle Making Encyclopedia that I'm about to put on ebay, unless I can sell them to somebody here.....very good condition, I have refered to them many times over the years. I'm just never gonna get that saddle built, so I'd rather someone that can put them to use, have them. I will take $120 plus shipping for the set of 3.

I have the Leather Secrets book by F.O. Baird ya'll been talking about. I've been thinking of selling it on the bay. I've had it for years and have rarely refered to it...in excellent shape, no rips or missing pages... I also have Al Stohlman's Encyclopedias of Saddle Making, Vol. 1,2, and 3.....gently used, but in excellent shape as well..I have refered to these more often......was thinking of building a saddle once, but never got around to it..... Anyone interested?? Let's talk......I'd like to send these off as a package deal if I could....

Guess I'll try another room for my wine thingy....
-
I'd like to make some friends of mine....who just gave me a case of their home brew....a carrier to carry a bottle of wine. Seems they always take one along when they go visit. Has anyone here done one? If so, let me have a look see?? Thanks,
-
So are we going by the list, or are you drawing "from the hat'??? Sp far we've had one person send to whoever they want to, another goes by the list...I think it's time for someone to make the call.
-
Why give Johanna another thing to do?? The sender and receiver can swap private messages for snail/e mail addresses, no??
-
Keep it simple....draw names out of the perverbial hat and list them...first name sends to second, second to third, third to fourth, and so on...last name on the list sends to the first name listed.... AND PLEASE....don't nobody send me a saddle.....Already got one!! :angel_not:

I've always found it kinda amusing how folks are so afraid of their leather getting wet....after all, the cow stood out in the rain half of it's life....and we wet the leather to stamp it, carve it....wet mold it....etc.......if it gets wet, let it dry, oil it and get over it....

I'm in...!!!
