  1. Soak it in water mixed with ammonia (1 gallon/1 cup), wet mould, let dry. It's worked for me before.
  2. guitar since 1962....mostly blues, rock, country (the old stuff)
  3. Don't need it. Enough ppl hate me already.
  4. You are truly an artist. Very excellent, and groovy too.
  5. That is by far the nicest wet molded seat I've seen posted here yet. Very well done.
  6. I'm a Vietnam vet, and it doesn't offend me at all. I say do it.
  7. For that extra perfect fit I would wet mould veg tan leather to the customers breasts. But that's just me. I'd go that far to ensure the customers satisfaction.
  8. Black seat looks good with that paint.
  9. If the bottom of the pan is contoured, the bottom piece will be a bit larger, and different in shape than the top piece.
  10. 50,000 miles a year? You sure your odometer is working ok? Nice seat. I think I've seen that before tho.
  11. Try Henley. I think the have double line/beader blades. I was gonna order from them, but now I may try a few tips on my ceramic first.
  12. I ordered some of ZWs black oil dye. They sent me a quart of Fiebings instead. I called them & complained. They said keep the Fiebings for free. Two days later I get a quart of ZWs oil dye. Cool with me.
  13. Very nice Roger. It reminds me alot of one I did last year. http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=1221
  14. 3/8" - 1/2" seems to work fine for me.
  15. Tom, great looking mask, and yer grin makes me laugh!
  16. Thanks! I use only professional oil dye, after a couple of coats of neetsfoot. It seems to suck it up pretty good if I put the first coat of dye on before the last coat of oil is completely dry. Although I've had good luck with Fiebings, I'm going to give Zack's pro dye a try soon.
  17. Very nice! I like the tooling, and the construction.
  18. Thanks for the compliments! Good kangaroo makes the mexican round braid easier to do.
