I have used it with an airbrush. It needs thinned! About 1-4 works for most testing I have done maybe 1-3 will work (paint to thinner).

I don't understand how you paint with a needle...
I have tried ultra fine point sharpies with some success.
Try an airbrush! I use it for saddle tan because it lets me make it as dark or light as I want. A cheap airbrush is fine for spraying large items (wallets etc), but for fine detail you should spend some $$$$$.
both will do what u want very well. Just angle the cup to where u need it, but don't forget that u have it at an angle, the cups without a top may spill the contents.
I'm making myself a belt that uses a large buckle with the curved pin soldered on the back. I want to use eyelets for the holes. Anyone have an idea of the eyelet size so I won't have to buy packages I may not use? Or how can I measure for them? I don't have any eyelets now to use as a reference.
Thanks
Lumpen, that is the very reason I ordered a Knip French Model knife. I had a clicker knife also, it was difficult to sharpen and wouldn't hold an edge.
Thanks Matts but I'm going a different direction. I usually cheap out but I need a quality knife for pattern cutting, i'm going custom after the 1st of the year.
