  13. For a relative Newbe, Your freehand letters are just great ! Your Basketwave stamping ? yes, needs work, but thats where you have to begin your learning curve. Go ahead buy an Alphabet set, you'll use it alot, even later on ! Al stohlman books are helping many ! keep up the practiceing regemen. --- Wild Bill46
  14. Halitech, and Dwight are giving good opinions. Do a couple of wallets, You can apply design, tool, stain, stitch or lace just for practice. Not alot of cost ! The Dog collar was a good practice piece. belt almost the same, Good luck to you ! --- Wild Bill46

My coming shop area needs a 3'x7' worktable w/ slot for a measuring stick, cutting base, punching base, And my 16"x28" stamping stone and maybe even on adjustable rollers ? Maybe something quick might work for you ? A used door on sawhorses maybe ? might be the ticket ? I have heard of using an old ironing board ? ideas are unlimited for you to ponder ?   19. Dwight, You've intriqued me ! When you say you used 2x12 on the ends ? and made swinging arms to hold 6-8 pieces on each ? Maybe its just me but, I can't imagine this. Do you have pictures of your invention ? This is exactly where I'm at now, in my thinking process, for a small future shop, and its storage ? --- Wild Bill46

Would it be possible, to drill a hole on each side of the press, if there are not any there already ? and afix your press with bolts, to something sturdy where the jaws could hang over the front edge ? This would allow you to insert the case onto the lower jaw, and thus able yourself to rivet ? Just a thought ????????????? Hope this might help ? --- Wild Bill46
