Frodo: I got one coming up as well. Hope it turns out as good as yours did, (even if I did have a bit of bleed)
Now since reading the suggestion from Brokenolmarine, I'll try to remember that tip, Thanx; Brokenolmarine
but yours still came out really nice.
Bladegrinder: I have those grips as well, or quite similar on my 45,
But, with the elephant hide it looks really great with those particular color grips pattern !
and in a time constraint as well. Super. You did good my friend !
I liked this one too Garyak !
However, that wee bit of yellow in the Kermit sheath stole my facination.
and, I can see the lacing better here, and Im still guessing Mexican Round Brade ?
I liked looking at both your ranch creations Great efforts, Broken Marine !
I watched the Don Gonzales tutorial not long ago myself.
and, yes to that carry for any distance, I was Army !
Both, these two sheaths are True Artistry,
The Kermit colors are very interesting.
and, The peanut looks great with the red stitching.
My first guess, the lacing is Mexican Round braid ? Second guess, Double or Triple loop ?
No matter , they are lookers for sure ! I really like em both ! Great Works !
I find that sometimes my cut lines are too shallow, as, I'm interpreting you to say too. I try not to stop anymore than necessary
and keep the blade going same depth , at the ends I kind of lessen the cut pressure to taper my cut upward to a stop but even that takes lots of practice and I'm not too well versed at it either But, I keep trying !. Maybe that might help ?
Im Late as usual: But, man that's really, really nice, Frodo The turquois does make it pop !
Been thinking Ide make a top hat, haven't yet though, But, I do want to, and soon I hope !
Congratulations !!!!!!!
