Holding the swivel knife is only frightening at first (not hard to master) strive for perpendicular tilted back slightly, using the back corner to cut with ! Your examples look nice ! Thank You Tinker, I'll keep this address in Connecticut, New York, NOT Ga for future need, (hohoho) I thought as much for the address question, when I asked for info, trying to be humorous. I'll try to keep a check on this thread for further developments. Again Thanx --- Wild Bill46

Wild Bill46 replied to KMMay's topic in Books, Journals and Photo Albums
I think your Bible cover is mostly a well thought out project, But, as others have mentioned, and would tend to agree, the placement of your makers mark is only a minor discrepincy, Other than that, I think its its great too ! --- Wild Bill46 -

Everyone has a prefered method or idea in mind ! My thought was, because I've never had this presented to me before, I thought about, using a hair tool to simulate a woodgrain effect might work for you, Then stain and antique as you would any other project that was tooled ? Hope all turns out as you expect . --- Wild Bill46

Looks like a great start, and a nice color at that ! As long as your happy with it, Its good, because you are the maker ! Still, keep on experimenting with colors on scrap, that might be worthy for you in the future. And Antiqueing is also an alternative you might explore when money isen't as tight ! Airbrush might just turn your head too, --- Wild Bill46
