Thank you for clearing this question up for us, Mlapaglia Vineagroon is always neutralized after using ! And thanx for your help along the way with other projects, you've helped many others ! I appreciate you, and other giving friends, --------- Wild Bill46
-
So what you are saying is that; Indeed the Vinegaroon did somewhat go through the protective shield of three coats of Super Sheen ? (However I gotta say, it gives it a great look, as if lifelike, Nice !) But the question of Neutralizing the Vinegaroon still remains ? should you or should you not neutralize ? ------------------------------------- Wild Bill46

Just A Thank You to Colt For your answer here. All this is in my head from years of Sign lettering, but I could not get it out so clearly, good job ! Thanks my friend ! ------ Wild Bill46

Not exactly sure what you are asking ? Persey One way I might explain your question is, No ! Resoline is not what is recommended, to stop the vinergaroon process ! What is recommended is a baking soda bath to stop the process I have already mixed up a jar of vinegaroon , but as of yet have not actually worked with vinegaroon, So at this point I'm just observing !. However, I'm certain others will be more knowledgeable on this subject, Wild Bill46

Also Check out and view our very own Cheif in this forum, his Mexican hand braiding tutorial is easy to understand and you might find it on you tube, I can't remember ? Good luck --- Wild Bill46

7 Holsters Completed
Wild Bill46 replied to Rohn's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
Your color seems a bit lighter somehow ? The Tooling is awesome as is the Lacing, As usual, Really nice looking Holsters ! -------- Wild Bill46 -
As Halitech says look into mexican hand braid first, before you make a decision as to which lacing style you want ! Both Mexican and Double loop can start and stop as you please ! As long as you keep this in mind when starting ,do it then . and when stopping do that end then. hope it turns out well for you. ----- Wild Bill46

To Me, They look as if their first wide grooved, and beveled on one side of each line ! Wild Bill46
-
Also look for Double loop lacing ! It is done with alot of billfolds, and can be a non detectable ending if properly done Good Luck on all your quests. ---------- Wild Bill46.

Not absolutely positive about this project, But, I would agree with Dirtclod's method ! Firstly- speedy stitcher Has its place, I guess, I find it cumbersome ! Secondly- lining up and pining to align the holes, Is a must ! Thirdly- Saddle stitch for best/strongest repair. Hope your project turns out well, let us know. --- Wild Bill46

Measure Twice Cut Once, But What Is The Measure?
Wild Bill46 replied to RKCrowe's topic in How Do I Do That?
Sorry; RK I'm not going to be the Talent your looking for on this project ! I'm in the exact place as you, (so to speak) ! Last year I wanted to make some stylized-and personalized Coozies myself. As Christmas gifts to pass out among family at the lake. I began , but never completed my projects, I just had too many other projects ahead of this ! But I'm sure ! the Talent is here somewhere among this diverse group ! --- Wild Bill46 -

Exceptional indeed ! I'm impressed with top edges of the pockets, and your seemingly clean stitching. although a bit thick for my taste. Nice work though ---Wild Bill46
