    Here are a few more.
  2. Looks like it puts the photos in any order it wants. I couldn't put all the photos in here (not sure why). Hopefully it explains alignment. Basketweave, when done correctly, is a time consuming way to tool. Let me know if you need more pics. I might try and post them later tonight.
  3. Here the series of steps I do when basketweaving.

  17. Tracey, Kevin Peebler is an outstanding spur/bit/buckle maker. He is located over here on the western slope in Delta. I'm not sure if he has a website, but if you need more info let me know. Regards, Daryl
  18. I prefer the "natural" look of leather too. I set my leather out in the sun and let nature do the color change. I like to use either olive or neatsfoot oil to protect the leather....nothing more. I experience alot of people who think in order to keep the leather lasting year after year, they need to apply some type of "sealer". I strongly disagree. IMHO, leather needs to BREATH. It is going to age with time and that is what gives some items characteristic. I can't remember the last time I applied dye. I'm not "knocking" anyones way of operation, just explaining what I do.
  19. I vouch for Timco as well. Excellent quality and customer service.
  20. Panther, Looks like I'm the first to welcome you. Beautiful work! Regards, Daryl
  21. Smith and TJ, I contacted a local plastic company. They usually have a "cutting board" type material that is awesome for cutting leather on. If I remember correctly, it isn't that expensive and really makes a differenece. I have had my bench covered with this material for over 4 years and it is still working great. Good luck, Daryl
