  1. Great Thank You guy's and girl's:-) The more I see of this style, the more I like it, i think the idea of making things out of "nothing" is really a cool idea. I just do it my way but...I might put some real metal pieces in at some point.
  2. Waaaay Thank you guys :-) I hope to get some more ideas in my head on this theme...i kind'a like it and it works great with (rustic) leather...
  3. This is the finished bag, possible pouche or whatever the name would be:-)
  4. Wow, purple too :-) I'm guessing here but the only purple ones I know is Paul's...I hope you're going to enjoy it as much as I do
  5. Here's where I get the dye from, with color charts and all:-) Make sure to get some reducer, it helps a lot to get the shade you want. Now, the picture, it looks to me like diluted "English tan" with the reservation that computers may change color from screen to screen. Just scroll down a bit on the page... http://turtlefeathers.net/text/angelus/dye.html
  6. Super duper Clay and I hope you get a massive cake and manny packages with nice ribbons

  8. Very cool purse, I'm guessing you have a happy daughter right now? :-)
  9. Yeah:-) I got a photo album in the mail from ClayB and thought...Not all people can travell to shows so this PIF (paying it forward, I borrowed the titel from the movie) was a good opportunity to be able to see, feel investigate if you like other peoples work closeup, to learn from and it's at the same time very social:-) But, even if I planted the first idea, it could not have been as good as it is without people keeping it alive like Wildrose and TwinOaks so lets keep them happy so this continues for a looooong time to come. Thanks massive both of you:-)
  10. Hi Again Adam If there is something I really don't do well it's Sheridan style drawings, most anything else works except that:-( But, don't give up, there is loads of people here that do Sheridan super nice, so just tank up with some patience and you'll be heard:-)
  11. Hi Adam. If you come up with a little bit more detailed idea I draw it up for you...My fee is that you make a donation to LW in the amount you think it's worth:-)
  12. Ok, now...I'm not Norwighan, just a Swede but between us we do mostly understand each other:-) It looks like you might have the eye word right in Norweighan (that's how it sounds at least) but for the life of me I can not remeber six and helmet The few Norweighan people here have to help you out:-) I would guess that you have a Scandinavian background far back?
  13. Resist as in a finisher/acryllic sealer? Angelus have in their leather line of sealer in 4oz, pint or quart: Matte, Satin, gloss and High Gloss, If this is what you're looking for I paste a link below where I get the stuff, very quick and easy. http://turtlefeathers.net/text/angelus/mis...s.html#finisher
  14. Hi, I use a scalpel with blade number 20. I know it aint easy but...I angle the blade to just nip of enough of the edge and it seams to work fine and after burnishing you can't tell the difference.
  15. Really, really cool. I love the design but feel sorry for the maker *S* Someone has to have dreams about all those scales:-)
  16. Can you write in english, cuz something is missing (?) Hjalmer...If it's a name then usually Hjalmar, if you mean helmet then Hjälm/ar (sing/plur) the secks oyne...? But then again, this is modern and not forn-nordic. Geezz, I think Tom is rather good at this, he might give you a really good translation Daggrim, I tried *S* And Freki, Super Thanks, There was some new there:-)
  17. I Love them Freki, The patterns from Gotland is to me the best ones, you did an excellent work on these:-)
  18. That's Awesome:-) I really like the combo you made here...Good work!
  19. I use red dye from Angelus but I guess there's plenty of other brands out there. Good luck with your contest:-)
  20. Hej Freki och välkommen:-) I think you're going to Love this place and fit in perfectly//Tina
  21. Totally missed this topic...Off to try and find them, Thanks:-) I thought I had...A German made (no Chinese, sorry if I offend anybody) rotary punch that also takes less effort/power to make the hole. I also like it when I can change the pipes(?) cuz they do get done after some use. The weird thing is, it's the middle of the rotary, like the rim that holdes trhe whole thing thats broken. I can see it's some type of cast iron (I think) and that might be the problem? Going to look for some good ones with changable opipes and some nice handles for sensetive hands (Yeah right *S*)
  22. You know how sometimes one just use a tool, not even thinking about how important that tool is for you? Well, I just discovered How important the revolving puch is to me. The darn thing broke on me after + 6 years and I'm stuck until the new one shows up *not happy* Off course, right now I need to make a few hundres holes and I'm trying not to offend any neighbors by using the one that need a good smack from the mallet *grrrr* My level on the patience area is right now nada! Sorry folks, just needed to get rid of some steam.
  23. I'm on my way out but i will write you a pm as soon as I'm back again:-)
