  1. Have you tried a forstner bit? They put really clean holes in wood.
  2. Greetings. There is a whole section dedicated to motorcycle gear. Have fun.
  3. Welcome aboard, Pepe.
  4. Ron would never be caught dead on the internet. Haha. Great first attempts. I like the book mark idea.
  5. Looks good.
  6. I Love Mine. They will be prying it out of my cold dead hands. Which is your favorite? Good luck with the sale.
  7. How much for them bellies?
  8. That's cool. And a completely reasonable price. I mean Maker's stamps start around 40-50 bucks. Thanks for the info and good luck with the sales.
  9. Sorry, he's the only one I know of that deals specifically in old tools.
  10. It looks great. Just for a little reference, what is a ball park figure on something in this size?
  11. For this I am planning on the consew 206rb-5. If you are needing the cylinder arm more something like the cowboy 277r or the newer 341 will be great. Techsew is in Canada and an advertiser here. They have comparable machines to the cowboys listed and I believe they carry the consew line. One thing that was revealed to me awhile back by Wiz was..... It is hard to bury a large thread in a thin item with a machine. Since they produce a lock stitch the thread cross and comes back. Making the stitch roughly double the thickness of the thread. We don't run into this problem with the saddle stitch. Take all this with a grain of salt. I don't own a machine but I have done my research already. Good luck.
  12. That looks great.
  13. I think your best bet is to make two smaller items from this piece. And get a new piece for the chair. Sometimes wasting time working around a problem is worse than starting over. .02
  14. I have bought many things from Wuta. I like their products just fine. I have no problems with buying things from over seas. I just thought with exchanging instructions and data a language barrier may hamper the process. Hopefully, this guy will get it together. It's still a little early for internet flaming of a small business.
  15. Well, I was hoping that ordering domestic would be of a benefit, it wasn't. $110.00 (stainless stamp with peg for my press) and three and a half weeks, I have yet to see my stamp. Hopefully he will come thru. He has a high rating and good reviews on Etsy. Sheesh.....
  16. You could try contacting Bruce Johnson. He deals in antique tools. He doesn't have any listed on his website though.. https://brucejohnsonleather.com/leather-tools-sale/
  17. I'm sorry, I didn't notice the thickness. Probably would be great for holsters. All the calf I have seen advertised has been thin firm leather. Which was where the wallet reference came from.
