  6. I don't personally know anything about the SK tools but if there is any doubt I would look at the Barry King bevelers which are also $25. Many on this sitr will attest to the quality of the tools Chris
  7. Keith, Thanks for the information. It did help quite a bit. I wish I had the opportunity to go to a supplier and choose the sides I want but the only places to buy in person are that I'm aware of near me are the Tandy's in Tulsa and OKC which are 3-5 hours away. Both are relatively small and I havent cared much for the selection and it's even worse if I order online. That's why I'm trying to find a place to order online that others have has good experiences with. Thanks for the info. Chris
  8. Keith, Thanks for responding. I was interested in finding out if they are a good supplier to deal with and the quality of the products. Since I'll be buying sight unseen I will have to trust them to send me good usable leather. Thanks in advance Chris
  9. I hope it is since I did order it. I REALLY need to start looking at the dates of posts!!!! Chris
  10. Jim, that certainly didn't work out. Maybe you should have seen what she was doing for lunch! Chris
  11. I make patterns for woodworking out of 1/8" or 1/4 hardboard like they use to make pegboard but without the holes. I assume it would work for leather too. Chris
  12. You can depress a groove into the leather leaving the top layer intact for sewing using a dull swivel knife blade or a modeling spoon. Chris
  13. Thanks for the responses. First thing I did was check to make sure I had the settings for getting the new stuff since my last sign on. Problem is I didn't scroll down far enough to see that I had also, at some point, checked the box for the responses that I had participated in. Its working fine now. There for a while I was like a drug addict who's dealer had died! Thanks all Chris
  14. Is anyone else having problems with the "View New Content" feature of the site? For the past few days it states that there is no new post to view but if I go to the individual forums there is plenty of new posts. Chris
  15. Also when dealing with some of the public there are 3 things you cant fix : stupid, greed and a sense of entitlement. Chris
  16. They can wipe the mold and mildew off with a damp cloth then use a water and lemon juice mixture. Chris
