  1. Thank you Ray. I guess the box was bigger than I thought so I just kept putting things in it. I am glad you like it. Tom
  2. Thanks you for the compliments guys. I thought I'd finally do the one project that I've been wanting to do for a year. A year ago I wanted to make myself a bag to carry when I went out with my metal detector. Well a year later I almost have it done. Thanks for all your help in my new hobby. I've learned more here at leatherworker then I could ever say thanks for. Tom
  3. Yep, it's all held together by the latigo lace on the sides. The only stitching is on the front pocket. I wanted the bag to be a one piece design and it was till I added the pocket. tom
  4. Well it was going to be a one piece when it started but I decided to add a pocket to the front. I'm glad I did. I like the pocket. I still need to make a shoulder strap. Tom
  5. Thank you Allen. I got the idea for that design some where in here. But when i tried to find it again I couldn't. I just wanted to say thanks to all of the folks here at leatherworker for the lessons i have learned. So who ever you are that inspired that design, thank you. Tom

  7. Thanks rhall I think you'll find it is a fun project. Maybe a little frustrating when the hole dont line up but it all seems to work out in the end. Just have to stick the rivets in when you form it and while it's still wet. Then let it dry as you can see in the pic. Tom

  11. It's taking me a while to get the hang of it but I'm pleased with the results. Tom
  12. Awhile back some one posted that they were starting a makers stamp collection. Well I now have one of my own. I ordered it from "Grey Ghost Graphics" out of Myrtel Beach SC. I ordered it on Friday and got it today, Saturday. It works great. It cost $55.00 plus $10.00 for shipping. I got the 1" one. Tom
