  1. Nice BB holster. Do you spend a lot of time at the Tandy store on the east end of SA? The reason I ask is because I have seen that belt loop before in SA. Nice work! Greetings from Round Rock, Texas Note: I like the thin Stolhman angle blade once it was resharpened thanks for Scissormedic.
  2. AzRider Take a look at these saddle bags. They are on my list of bags to make for my cruizer. The are covered in "Sheridan" design. Good luck and welcome to the forum. By the way, I like the seats...nice BW. Greetings from Round Rock, Texas

  16. Hello All: A couple of Longhorn Trail Leather Guild members took a day trip to Fort Worth to spending a little bit of our wife's money at Hide Crafters. We have all ordered from the catalog, but to see it in person is something else. During our visit we were introduced to the Lonestar Leather Guild President Dave Smith and lengendary leather craftsman George Hurst. Mr. Hurst was working on his next dvd tutorial on saddlebags. We eventually were invited to have lunch with Mr. Hurst and guild secretary where we were able to discuss leather, the craft and his passion for this craft. Here are just few photographs of the visit. I did tell Mr. Hurst and Mr. Smith that we would be sharing this information with you all here at Leatherworker.net. He sent his hello! Greetings from Round Rock, Texas

  18. Try some deglazer, which should remove most if not all finishes. I ran into the same thing recently. Next time, try Super Sheen on the parts you want to resist. Three coats should be plenty and allow each coat to dry overnight. Good luck! Greetings from Round Rock, Texas

Google "Sap" The old police uniform pants had a smaller pocket behind and below the right rear pocket. That is where the "Sap" was carried, then the police carried their large "D" cell flash light & SL20. Now, I believe the police officer carry their duty knife in that pocket? I am speaking from law enforcement on the west coast. I don't know if these pockets on found on uniform pants around here. I hope this help. Greetings from Round Rock, Texas
  20. Welcome to the Forum! As for your last question, most craft "people" will take photographs and add a short description as to what is going on and post it as continual tutorial. It has worked well for me, so jump right in if you have something to teach. Good luck Greetings from Round Rock, Texas

  23. UKRay Our local Leather Factory Manager used some pieces of peg board (a think sheet of board with a bunch of holes evenly spaced and covered it in black suede like material and posted all of his buckles and sets. He then covered it with the clear plastic from a gift shop and sealed it to keep the dust off. It was cheap and useful. Good luck Greetings from Round Rock, Tx
  24. JBird It is looking good. I recently made a holster type cellphone holder. It came out to big for my cellphone. What type of phone do you have, I will send it to you and it will go on the other side. You will have a double holster rig....hahaha Greetings from Round Rock, Texas
