  4. It would be best if you lightly moisten the liner leather prior to gluing it together. When it comes to gluing the pieces try to glue it on a curve or fold. You liner is longer than your exterior piece so when you fold it, it will wrinkle. I hope I didn't confuse you.
  5. Hello and welcome to the forum. Looks like you are on your way!
  6. I use plastic purchased by the yard at fabric stores for my ID windows. They have different thickness and have been working well for me. It is also affordable as well.
  7. I would check out the International Federation of Leather Guilds for their next show. I want to say Fort Wayne, IND this year, but I might be wrong. I am sure the website should have the correct information. Good luck.
  8. Hello and welcome to the forum from Central Texas, USA!
  9. There is a new Italian (?) product that recently came out in a couple of LC&SJ issue. They have water based products in liquid and powder based. I believe that Lisa Sorrell, bootmaker from OK maybe a dealer. I use wood weld and enjoyed the switch. I haven't used the green label yet. Good luck P.S. Eman.....you should have any problem gluing leather that has been treated with Neatsfoot oil.......Unless it has been dunked and not allowed to settle in with appropriate time.

  14. Bob Beard can be found on the internet. Just google Pro series tools or Bob Beard tools. Very nice SK. I have one in my collection. Bob's work is top notch!
  15. It will not matter about those copying your products, but marking your products should be done whenever possible. When I deliver a gift, I give them a business card and key fob for them to remember the giver. I have a friend to made a rubber stamp and wrapped the product with the stamped logo on the wrapping. If you have a small maker's mark, mark it! Good luck and sell out!
  16. If all of this does not work......contact my bud Freddie Matara in Brooklyn.
  17. Welcome to the forum. By all means, you want to back your lower or lighter leathers. I know a few people who still back leather up to 7/8 ounce. You do not want to do all of the work only to find out your project stretched. I use shelf liner paper that I buy at Wal-mart for under $2 bucks. I also use packaging tape as well. Though I have done it both ways, I had better results taping before wetting. I guess it is just personal preference. Good luck and best of all....have fun!
  18. Try Aggiebraider a member on here. He should be able to help you out.
  19. It has been quite a bit since I posted any pictures. I wanted a new front pocket wallet. I recently renewed my Leather Crafter's and Saddlers Journal and they included a card wallet pattern. I decided to turn this one into a new wallet. Pretty simple. Design is credited to Akiko Okada, from Japan.
