  1. I believe one of our forum member Chuck Burrows has a sheath DVD out as well. I have heard that anything from Paul Long is really good.
  2. I believe that may be an old C.S. Osborne 8". Tandy has one, so does Weaver, Cowboy, etc. There is an 8" Tandy for sale on eBay as we speak. If you are looking for an older model in great condition.....check out our forum member Bruce Johnson. He has a leather tools website where he has some of best old tools. Good luck

  12. I hear that Chuck Burrows has a good video. There is another guy on YouTube that was recommended to me, but my age does not allow me to remember that name right now.
  13. Hello Rudi and welcome to the forum.
  14. Just to let you know that my McAfee did not allow me to visit your site. It blocked your URL. Not sure what is up.
  15. Ditto on Bob's comments. One of the best manuals on learning the basics is the Leathercraft Manual by Al Stohlman. It is available at Tandy stores and online. It even has a practice model for you to copy and use for practice. Good luck
  16. For the cost, you cannot go wrong with a Barry King set up especially when someone is new to craft. I have even gone so far to suggest to those with other less quality swivel knives to just replace the blade with a higher quality blade and there is a big difference. Again, for the cost of Barry's set up.....you will have a good head start out of the gate. But just like anything else.........operating a swivel knife is a perishable skill, so expect to put some practice behind that blade. Good luck
  17. A friend of mine purchased some really nice ones on eBay in a small lot.
  18. Thanks for sharing Jim. Do you mind if I share with my students and followers on FB with appropriate credit to you, of course?
  19. Congratulations Anne! I wish you all luck!
  20. I would sure like to pick up 90% of those floral tools to complete the set with those I have already. Man!
