  3. Not bad at all for your first carvings. once you get more practice and confident, you'll learn to feel the leather quality and the better quality the leather, the better it carves and stamps.

  10. Beautiful work Mister. Got a Q. Do you groove your stitch line ? Sometime when I groove and stitch, the leather seems to swell up a bit after wetting and cutting though some. Maybe I'm grooving to deep or wetting to much . Been using waxed linen and artificial sinew.
  11. An over stitch wheel(space embossing wheel) will help on your spacing after you mark or groove your stitch line. Also you can use prickling irons to mark then. Keep at it, I"m still learning this art myself.

  13. Lovely work Miss Gstone !! My first and only billfold bundled up the same way. I have seen a couple of ways to prevent that but, I've been sticking to long wallets instead lol !!
  14. Ok Mister, you need to braid the top right this instant !!! Lol, what thickness is that montana hide and is it a veg tan ? AND.... I love that braiding, I really want to braid a holster or a belt(never done it before). I have a roll of 1/8" lace I need to put to good use !!

  17. Very nice work LC , the A. S. Holster pattern is a classic. I've been working on making holsters and really want to try and make a braided one....
