Torquewrench, I don't have a resale license either. I called Ohio Travel Bag and they set up an account for me. I order from them online all the time.

This might be the wrong place for this. If it is please feel free to move it to the appropriate section. Does anyone put an insert or flyer with your products for customers about the care and feeding of the leather? Warning about crocking, dye ruboff, water spotting, waxing or cleaning, natural blemishes of the leather etc.. Is there a generic form somewhere I can adapt to my business?

I have tried just about all the sealers I can find both acrylic and some Neatlac I had left over as a block out. Even after an overnight drying time, They seem to pick up a tint from the antique gel as I wipe it off. Is there any way to prevent this? I have a customer that is really bent because the white on a bald eagle isn't snow white. While we are at it. Is there ever a point where you can wipe a piece with a wet paper towl and not damage the finish? Am I not putting enough sealer on? I usually spray satin sheen on with an airbrush. I hope I'm not just beating a dead horse!

Man, I think you are doing fine. Just work on not leaving tool marks with the beveler! Great Job.

I lace to the last hole, at the last hole I do the full lace sequence twice so the end is out the back of the final hole. Then run the needle back under the lace on the back side abour an inch or so and cut it off.

I think that if people have never actually made something themselves, they have no appreciation for Hand Crafted products.

I finished this last week. The bag has a drawcord with hand made tassells. It is 10" deep, 12" wide and has a 3" gussett.

You tend to get over the "afraid to cut" thing. I used to be so worried about messing up a piece, that I hesitated to even start! Ain't that wierd?

Doc Marten Sporran
Wyvern replied to scottishshoemaker's topic in Purses, Wallets, Belts and Miscellaneous Pocket Items
The sporrans you saw at the Tattoo were out of horsehair and were mostly for show. Not much use. The sporrans like Scottishshoemaker made are roomy and made to be used every day. A lot of guys are wearing kilts and sporrans on a daily basis now. Just go drop in on kiltsrock.com and brouse! -

I called them about a year ago. They took my information, (I don't have a tax id). They sent me a catalogue free if I remember correctly. I do a lot of business with them. Very nice folks. Just remember the $30 minimum.
