  1. You might be able to brush it up with a horsehair brush to shine it
  2. I’m thinking take a horse hair brush and get the crap off then go find you some Aussie leather conditioner from fiebings and get that stuff on their and do it every 2 months or so. FYI Tandy sells it and they have a website that sells it. Plus brush off weekly if not daily to keep clean. This product waterproofs the leather completely and works great!
  3. I use printer paper first then cardboard for a template and the tracing film for carving
  4. I think to use tan kote and that’s what I use on my belts and it works great. But being new u also could use Aussie from fiebings( sold at Tandy) or I make a concoction of beeswax and neetsfoot oil melted and blended together also works good. Good luck
  5. Hey man if the holster is for work than who cares but am curious about buffing technique that made the lines Good job young feller

Machine or hand sewn? Looks very good, I like the border stamps to be closer together but still very good
  11. Very nice job. Thinking of the cobra class 4 how do you like it? Where did you buy it from? Thanks, carson
  12. The old Tandy knives if you can find one, I have about three shafts and about six blades but I like the angled ones better. The ones from the early 70 s are very high quality
  13. Yea I tend to like a thicker coaster I thing I might get a piece of 14/15 oz leather for tooling purposes
  14. I consider the eco flo dyes as flammable fluids not leather dyes... I use the fiebings pro oil dyes and their “seal” nicely, I also made a mixture of beeswax and neadsfoot oil and it and the Aussie leather conditioner works ecseptionaly well looks good though.
  15. What weight of leather did you use? Good job!
