  1. I like it! That's way better than my first attempt with basketweaving! Looks good to me!
  2. I really like those! Very nice work! I really like that chocolate color! I carry my pen in my front breast pocket religiously as I have to have one on me all the time. I've become so habituated to it that I even carry a pen in my front pocket on the weekends because I don't feel like I'm at the ready without it. lol! I can certainly see a use for them!
  3. Thanks @koreric75! I'm hoping to get there!
  4. Wow! Small world! I hope to see you there!
  5. I'm in Princeton, Tx. It's about 6 miles west of McKinney. Where are you in West Texas?
  6. @Rhale Thanks! I'll try and get there if I can!
  7. Hi Rodney, where can I learn more about this show? I didn't know anything about it. Thanks, Jack

  11. There's some good ideas in here! That parts organizer looks pretty good to me, bikermutt07.
  12. I know you mentioned a printable template but I thought I'd mention that makersleathersupply.com has a couple of really nice pattern rubs by Don Gonzales. Jack ps. Sorry, didn't realize this post was so old. You've probably found plenty of patterns by now. I was reading stuff early in the morning.
  13. That's a beautiful bag! My construction is not great but I really want to make my wife a purse someday. Great work!
  14. Thank you all so much! I really appreciate all the positive feedback! I'm really encouraged by all your kind words! Jack
  15. Thanks! Yeah, the main reason I did that is because the beveling around the curve next to the letter J goes all the way to the edge and I wanted that tooling to be clean all the way to the edge.
  16. Thanks a lot, folks! @alpha2, that Angelus antique is really easy to use! Jack
  17. Hi folks! I just finished a basketweave belt that I think turned out ok. This was my first time tooling on Wickett and Craig and I really enjoyed working with it. It was also my first time using Angelus finishes and I found them pretty easy to work with.
