  1. They removed the article. Here is another way to see it: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uQESGNKM0U2c5R9W_4rC_BvMq4rl0E8m/view?usp=sharing
  2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FB1oZOMKvNY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9z9UXY2lM0w Some quick ideas above, but I usually go to a bible store, but a cheap plastic cover, take apart and use it as the pattern.
  3. A simple Volt-Ohm meter can confirm a short by checking the resistance on the unplugged power lead between the ground lead and either of the other two prongs or between the two prongs.
  4. Here is a link for making the shields: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=fire+helmet+shield
  5. Here is a good over view of making the helmet There are several articles on making the shields, but this video just fascinates me.
  6. Those items not sold were donated to either the 4-H or Boy Scouts. Thanks for those helping with the estate sales. All SOLD...
  7. Price reduced to $300 for all three volumes of the signed and numbered (26/200) set of the Stohlman Encyclopedia of Saddle Making. See pictures at: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1BKUrOpY9UYsoKEWyzaQJtv7fe7FMnQ0u?usp=sharing
  8. I've had too many of those ruined screw heads. I've purchased some screw drivers that are marketed for gunsmithing. Just search for "screw drivers for gunsmithing". I assume they are similar to the electrician’s screw drivers, that Uwe mentioned.
  9. Servos are relatively inexpensive: https://www.amazon.com/Enduro-Sewing-Machine-Motor-Electric/dp/B079P8RQRQ/ref=asc_df_B079P8RQRQ/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=241954630226&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=10161109183466568230&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9033822&hvtargid=pla-424087884206&psc=1 Enduro Sewing Machine Motor - 550 Watt Electric Servo Motor Price: $129.00
  10. On a side note for FERDCO. I've had three of their machines: Pro-2000 (sold it), Pro-TK-1245 (phaff clone) and Pro 206H (consew clone) In all the years I've owned them, I've never, never had a skipped stich. What ever they did to modify the them was great. I think their patent has run out and maybe others will pick it up and make sewing easier for all of us.
  11. Check with https://hoffmanbrothers.com/leather-machines/ They bought out the FERDCO machines and all the parts when FERDCO terminated their business.
  12. Traps and Cats. Almost impossible to make air tight. Those damn mice can get through the smallest crack or hole. Don't ask me how I know....
