  1. Looks great Ian! One suggestion; perhaps if you'd add just a little more background... lol. Great work, my friend.
  2. GREAT WORK! Now I know exactly who to bug when I get around to making a holster for my gun! Bob
  3. Those look great! You've inspired me to make some. That's a great way to try out new ideas and techniques. I'll post 'em as get 'em made and you can tell me how to make 'em better! :-) Bob
  4. Great work Steve!
  5. Great job! I love the fit and finish. Would you share with us the colors and finish you used? Bob
  6. Looks great Suze! Some of us do our best under pressure. :-) I could use a few shirts...
  7. Thanks Bob! I'll give Bob a call tomorrow. Bob (gotta love all us Bobs) :-)
  8. I'm interested in ordering a couple of Bob's tools. I sent an email requesting details a couple weeks ago but have received no response. Is it better to call directly? What is the typical turnaround time from those of you who have ordered in the past? Thanks! (yet another) Bob
  9. Great job! Yet another idea to add to my super-long list of things to make. And to think... all this time I've been carrying my laptop around in a tacky old backpack... :-) Bob

Hi! Just a thought... you may have a better response if you post this under "Help Wanted". Bob
  11. Ian PM me if you'd like plans for a simple light box. Another thing to remember; if you decide to slow the shutter speed to increase the exposure (shooting flash-less) you'll need a tripod. It's always best to shoot from a tripod anyway. Shooting manual isn't a big deal, especially with modern digital cameras. Just bracket several shots, look at the results, and make adjustments. Back in the day we'd have to wait for processing to figure out had bad the pics were. lol Bob
  12. Great work! My dad would have loved this... he built model ships including several versions of the Cutty Sark. There's something about water, sailing ships, and voyages that stir the imagination of many of us. I love it! Bob
  13. Nice, clean look. Good job! Bob
  14. Great work, David!
  15. How did I miss the challenge post??? Only a few days left in February too. I'd better get busy!!! Nice job on the 4 rose group!
  16. Holding funds against feedback may sound good on the surface, but unless things have changed recently there's no requirement that a buyer leave feedback. I'm not sure I want PayPal holding my money indefinitely. I've sold a lot of items there and not all buyers, regardless of how happy they are with auction, leave feedback. Just a thought... Bob
  17. Wow. Great work!
  18. Beautiful strap! Thanks for sharing... now I get to add guitar straps to my ever-growing list of projects I want to make! Bob
  19. More great work, David! I love the "skull" color. :-)
  20. IMHO, heat guns and paint jars are a no-no. :-)
  21. Sounds like wisdom bought with experience! :-)
  22. Great work Jim... love the Kokopeli!
  23. Thanks to everyone for your kind comments! You're right, Go2Tex.... I marked the lines and carved them along with the rest of the pattern. The grid pattern is meant to emulate a latticed garden gate the customer has. I decided to add a light coat of Neat Lac to seal it.
  24. Great work! I love the way you accented the back.
