I have when in a pinch made molds using wood. If you are skillfully with a jig saw and a sander you can make a mold in a coupe of hours find an image online of the firearm and make sure the scale is correct cut and paste onto the wood and cut out

I make the front of the holster 3/8” larger than the Back section sew them together wet the front section and not the back shove a mold into the holster and vacuum seal it. this, for me, leaves the back flat and only the front is molded little tip/trick place the holster on a 2x4 before vacuuming

I stole that line fro an engineer in Texas the plan called for a floor sink to be installed at a location that had a 4’x2’section of duct work in the way I issued an RFI. And waited for an answer engineers answer was to forcefully with great care manipulate the top of the duct work to accommodate the p-trap (IE. Beat it) This work was taking place in a university kitchen that was in operation. I came down my ladder stole a stainless steel mixing bowl cut round hole in the duck and set the bowl in it with the p-trap nestled in the bowl like a baby bird The salad chef looked for his mixing bowl for an hour before he gave up side note, shout out to a plasma cutter called Drag-un awesome awesome tool

I have a few different types of snap setters i have the one shown on your photo All of them are a pain to use , I bought a box of snaps in the sewing section of a big box they came with a short stubby set tool I have found that this little tool works better than any other I have It folds the metal over correctly and the snap does not have to be beaten with a hammer to close added bonus use this tool to set large snaps where the leather is not thick enough

It is the same result if I hold the top thread to the back , side, or not hold it at all yes the top and bottom thread are the same size i m in the middle of a project and have been using the same needle thread combo all day with no problems at all the trouble started when I back stitched then forced the needle when it hit a knot or a thread image of tight stitch image of stitch line that is affected

Rex 26-188 I sewed 3 then reversed to sew 3 when the needle stoped like it was bent i checked to see if all was clear it appeared to be using my hand on the Pully. I forced the needle to go down sewed Approx 6” the machine was not acting right, I found a rats nest along the stitch line so I checked bobbin timing and tension after threading the machine it will pick up the bobbin thread, but look at this video this is what it is doing when I sew I am concerned that I broke/ bent something when I forced the wheel to turn IMG_4934.MOV
