  1. I make 1 1/2''' wide 2 layer belts and just glue the 2 strips on top of each other and sew. I have not had any problems with wrinkles
  2. My passion, is not leather. it is actually working with copper or metal due to bad lungs because of breathing fumes from the flux and welding smoke i had to give it up I found my pen last night that I thought was lost. I am going to share it with you This is a pen made from spent rifle shells 2- 30/06, 1 6.5x55. 1- 30 carbine and a 38 special with a brass 1950 basketball school pendant tossed in Pen is long enough and stout enough to use to defend yourself against an attack should you need to. the pocket clip is hand tooled from a solid piece of copper wire and soldered to the brass I made the top detachable and used a file to make a whistle that can be used to summon help if need arises The point is a 30 cal case slide into a 38 case. primer pocket drilled out to accept the tip of a BIC pen

  8. My opinion of a bench is a 4' [1.21m] x 8' [2.43m] in size with Lift/lock casters this allows the bench to be moved about the room on wheels then it sets down in position You need 4 separate work stations Cutting gluing with overhead exhaust hood stain sewing /machine/hand DIY FOLDING WALL MOUNTED WORKBENCH - YouTube

  10. I like that. and YES the exchange actually did happen People think we are selling cheap wally world crap. and we have to think of intelligent non ranting ways to get our point across. UNknown to me a couple heard that exchange and he bought a belt while making a joke of not asking the price
  11. Tip put it in the freezer for 1/2 hour. it makes rolling it up easier and the meat does not pull apart
  12. That is the question i was asked 2 days ago at a Spring fling Fair So i gave the guy a price. he quickly told me that was to high and countered with a REALLY LOW price of $20.00 Instead of being insulted and going on a rant with this guy. I grinned and said YES SIR, i reached in a tote and pulled out a dyed belt blank. No holes no buckle and handed it to him. He looked at me and asked ''what is this?" I said it is a $20.00 dollar belt. Then I added, if you want me to cut it to length and add a buckle/snaps and holes that will be extra. he put the belt down on the table and walked off. I got a huge laugh out of the exchange.

  14. I'll share one of my favorite recipes with you this called ''smoking a fatty'' 2 pounds ground sausage. rolled out cover it with what ever you wish roll it up, cover with bacon and place in your smoke at 200 degrees till done if you do not have a smoker it can be cooked on a grill or in an oven

  16. It is Chucks fault. I have been craving fish all day yesterday
  17. I am not a pro, this is just an opinion from what I have seen Depends is my answer. depends on the stitch length. because a fabric needle cuts leather and a leather needle separates fibers you do not want the holes in the leather close together. So i think a wide stitch length would be oK [ using a sharp needle] a tight stitch length would weaken the leather making the pocket venerable to be ripped off.
