  1. Thanks TomE I appreciate it. Yeah I watch like 50 videos & read 14 articles & could not find anything on it for the class 4. I'm going to run without it then. Thanks.
  2. Guys & gals I'm assembling my cobra class 4. Where does this screw in thread guide go? It was in with a bag of parts. I cant seem to find anything about it. Now lmao I havent looked in the manual yet for it. I found 1 spot on top of the sewing machine it threads into, I just dont know if that is where it goes. The other thing is, if it is used what's it used for? & how is thread routed thru it? Thanks.
  3. Yeah I finally found a video by Van Plew on youtube about cobra class 4 eps installation. On another note I got a thread in thread guide I'm not sure as to where it goes. I found 1 spot right on top it threads into. Lmao I just dont know if it goes there. I cant find anything about it.
  4. Guys & gals my EPS directions got accidentally taped on the inside of the box & destroyed them when I opened the box. Does my EPS look like everything is installed right? The red Mark's were there from leather machine co. So I just lined them up. Does this look correct? Thanks.
  5. Now I remember it. But I dont remember where the actual brake is. & how you disable it or back it off. Thanks.
  6. Yeah I was going to get a cowboy cb4500, but the shipping was going to be twice as much than the cobra. So I went that route. I cant wait to use it. Lol I might get it put together tonight.
  7. Lmao I dont even know if mine is right! The bracket the drop down guide came with is goofy like yours & I could not get it to work. Soo them pics is how I mounted my guide.
  8. Thanks. I'll keep you updated. I'll get some pics here in a bit.
  9. Here how my drop down guide is mounted. I did buy the extended hand lift knob & bracket to make this all work.
  10. Thanks. I appreciate the photos. I'm slowly figuring it out.
  11. Yes it is. Lol I'm kinda lost at the moment. Trying to figure everything out. I'm trying to figure my EPS out now. Lmao I have seen a couple videos & it's got me kinda lost. But I think I'm right. Waiting on a phone call to make sure. Love it!!!
  12. Yep I watched a bunch of videos & they all said the same thing as you. Thanks. Well it showed up! Pallet full of stuff! Cant wait to try it out.
  13. My class 4 should be the same mounting for the drop down guide. I'll get you some pics once I get to that point.
  14. Welcome to the group. Bunch of great people here. Enjoy!
  15. Well I am supposed to take delivery of a cobra class 4 sewing machine in the morning. I'll keep you all posted. Hopefully I can find some help to set it all up.
  16. Nice work! They look great. I thought I was the only 1 carrying the old style Gerber multi-pliers. I carry the black oxide version.
  17. Yeah I want to make a PID knife oven as well, just had not really had the funds. Them good PID controllers are not cheap.
  18. Thanks for the info. Yeah I might make a drying cabinet with a few low wattage bulbs wired inside it.
  19. Thanks. So is it lined with something like calf skin or something else. Thanks. Appreciate the info.
  20. That is Sexy! Nice work. Looks great! May I ask if a pattern was used? If so who's pattern. Thanks.
  21. Thanks. Yes them are nice tools. I think if the cutters could be adjusted for leather thickness it would be a better tool. I hate you got to buy different cutters for the leather thickness you are working with. Thanks.
  22. Is the EZ edger the tool that bevels all 4 corners of a strap or belt at once? If so, I would like to have 1, but the price always scares me away.
  23. The only other thing I could think of is cutting them a touch oversized, then fold & glue the long side length of the sleeve & then stitch it. I think it would give your project a more finished look. Plus I think it would give it some strength along the button sides of the sleeve.
  24. I think they look fine, knowing what they are for might change my mind.
  25. Thanks. @Wizcrafts I did buy all the narrow needle plates & feed dogs from @Patrick1 except for the #20 plate & feed dog. I was hoping maybe I could just swap between the #23 & #25 plates & make a few minor adjustments to swap between 138 & 277 thread. I've read about a few members saying they got their class 4 machines setup, where all they do is a needle & thread change to swap thread sizes. I have been trying to find articles on here about adjustments from 1 thread to the next on the cobra class 4, but I havent had much luck. Thanks for the link. I will take any advice given.
