Thanks kgg. I just recently spent $4000 on a cobra class 4, & now I'm trying to cheap out on a smaller machine. Something I can set up with 138 thread & not break the bank.
Guys & gals I'm curious if any of you know what clone model of sewing machine this would be?
It says it's a large shuttle bobbin model if that makes a difference in identifying.
Is there a abundance of presser feet for this model?
To me it looks like a cobra 26 or a consew 227r.
Does anybody got any insight on this style/model of sewing machine?
I would like to set this up for 138 thread only.
Thanks.
Yeah I see them on fleabay from time to time in that $40-$60 range. Lol can you have enough swivel knives thou?
I got 4 different swivel knives, because I hate swapping between blades.
I just watched a Jim Linnel video & he talked about that brand swivel knife.
He did mention the divelbiss knives use a different size shank on the blades, than most other swivel knives.
Can you get us a pic of where the part needed is installed on the machine?
Thanks. I have found a couple covers but dont know if they are the right ones.
Looks great to me. Nice work. I havent done much figure carving, but hope to get that good.
Have you seen or looked into the hair blades for your swivel knife or the freehand style hair blades?
Looks good. I would say you did great for your 1st try. Nice work.
Find some finer tooth burr bits for a less chattery rotary tool=less jumpy. Plus you will get a nicer finished surface.
@Patrick1 when I swap out to the #25 extreme needle plate & presser feet, will I need to make a walking foot adjustment. I watched a couple videos, but it wasnt for your needle plate & feed dogs.
Thanks.
Thanks. I appreciate it. That is exactly what I was hoping for. I plan on using only 2 thread sizes 138 & 277, & I was planning on using a 138 thread for my lighter projects.
