This is like the 3rd version or so of a Sheridan style drawing that I have done on my own, with lots of input from folks on this site like @Wykoni, @immiketoo, @JLSleather, @Stetson912 and others.  This is the first one I have not put in the scrap bin, and actually antiqued and stitched up.  Still not happy with it, lots of things I see to improve, but useable.  I think the tooled version with an initial on it is better, and will post a pic when it is done.  Just wanted to show it here, and say thanks to all that helped me out along the way.

Thank you Scoutmom!  I have another version of this I am trying to finish... but having a challenge matching the dye for the back....usually do dye work at the same time, but wasn't able to this go around (some match up issues).  Inability to match colors is why I always try to do colors at once, instead of weeks later!

Your carving has improved greatly in a short amount of time.

Thanks much!  Lots of help from those on this forum to get me this far, along with a bit of practice!

man, do I know THAT feelin'  ;)

You dun smoothed it out purdy good.   Want the really only not-so-fluffy comment?  I hate those flower center things.  Ya gotter lookin' good -- purdy darn "positive" when the rest of yer carvin' is nice enough that somebody notice the flower center :o

Hahah, yeah, and it isn't even centered!  I've tried many times with just the seeder, and the results are always hit and miss for me.  Watched plenty of videos, looked at photos, read instructions, so far I just kinda suck at it.  I imagine I'll eventually get that one down too.  Thanks for the previous tips and the complement!
