WyattEarp Report post Posted April 25, 2021 hello everyone, I made this shooter saddle bag. It take me 36 hours of carving and 6 hours of handstiching. It was fun to achive this projet. Greeting from Switzerland Jesse

toxo Report post Posted April 25, 2021 Usually holsters don't do much for me but that got my attention. A lot of thought went into that and I like the angle of the holster so nothing interferes with the flap. Very well done Jesse.

Josh Ashman Report post Posted April 27, 2021 That's a great job building Will Ghormley's pattern and outstanding update to the tooling design! Great work Jesse! I built this same pattern a while back and just used the tooling patterns supplied. Your design is much nicer! All the best, Josh

JWheeler331 Report post Posted May 16, 2021 (edited) Very beautiful work boy Wyatt and Josh. What pattern pack is that from? How is the holster attached? Edited May 16, 2021 by JWheeler331
RemingtonSteel Report post Posted May 16, 2021 (edited) Wyatt. very nice job... great tooling on that project! How long have you been tooling (5 years), as from the looks of it, I would say a very long time. JW, you can find that pattern pack here. Single strap version, not double strap: http://www.willghormley-maker.com/OWC.html Edited May 16, 2021 by RemingtonSteel
WyattEarp Report post Posted May 17, 2021 Thank you, Yes, the pattern come from the Will Ghormley pack. Here is a picture how the holster is attached to the front of the saddlebag. RemingtonSteel, I started leathertooling about 4 years ago, but I still have a lot to learn. Fortunately my friend Mich 'from France who is also on this forum helps me a lot to progress.
