Welcome to the forum. Looks better than my first attempt, too. Keep practicing. Keep reading and watching good instructional materials and you'll get better. The main thing is to learn the basics and practice them before you try more advanced stuff. That and always have fun.
Very nice work, Kevin. Do you think you could come up with a tutorial on how to do vector art from a picture? I have been trying to figure that out for some time now.
Regardless of what type of leather is used for the lining, the gun shouldn't be stored in the holster. It's the tannic acid in the leather that will eat your finish.
broncobuster, where do you get bulk chain from? Is it the chrome dog lead kind or something different. I have been looking forever and can't find what I want.
Nice work. Love the Mexican round braid. I noticed that you're holding the watch to the band with snaps. Does that hold well enough to use it with heavier watches? I've got a Seiko divers watch that I need to make another band for.
Nothing wrong with that one howard. The edges look really great. Post some more pices when you take it ot of the sun. I'd be curious to see how it changes.
Kev, I had to buy a spool of orange for a job, still not my favorite color. :-) It's good to be back. When I get my shop straightened up, I hope to be able to show some more stuff.
I picked up the tattoo designs book as well. The designs in it weren't as good as I had hoped they would be, but there were enough to make it worth buying.
Mike's right. They are a great resource to have. Each issue has a pull out pattern section for all of the projects they show. They do a lot of step by step type articles and even accept articles from readers. Really good magazine, too bad it's only bi-monthly.
Hey Luke, are those live shells on that guitar strap? I'm about to incorporate something similar into a seat and I was wondering if you used live shells, or dumped the powder out or got dummies or what.
That looks really nice. I agree with Kate, that bag will look killer in 20 years with some miles on it. You're edges are getting much better. Really good work.
