  1. Nice looking work. What about punching holes in the bag and using U bolts to hold them on? Not a lock, but could be a deterrent.
  2. That's a very cool idea and awesome tooling. This is for a paintball air tank, right?
  3. That looks very good to me brother. Nice taste in cigars too.

That is one of the best pieces I have ever seen. Wow.
  5. We're always our worst critics. That is a beautifully done belt. You should be very proud of it. That little fault that you see as glaringly obvious is not noticeable to anyone else. How wide is the belt and what weight did you use for the belt/lining? The stitching is very good as well. Bet you thought you'd never get done with that part, huh?
  6. Tool and die makers where I work use something similar to these: http://www.rehabmart.com/product/2032.htm
  7. Very cool bro. Love your work as always.
  8. Wow, the braiding is beautiful, but that book cover is off the hook! Really quality work. Thanks for sharing.
  9. Thanks for making us aware of these John.
  10. That's killer. I agree with Crystal, velcro would be good instead of a zipper. Very cool looking skull. Are there any parts of the gun itself that would take a cover without messing anything up? You'll be a big hit at the paintball park. (Pun intended)
  11. Thank you sir. This was just what I was looking for.
  12. SWEET! Is that scroll from a pattern or did you do it yourself? Very nice contrast between the scrollwork and the backgrounding.
  13. Good looking case. I did that same Celtic dog pattern for a seatmaker in Ohio. Yours looks better. Nice clean lines. Very nice work.
  14. Those are really cool. I've been thinking about doing some place mats for my brother. Did you finish the tops of the TV trays with anything to make them spill resistant/easy to wipe down? If so what? I was thinking that NeatLac or something along that line would be good? Really nice. I wish we could see more details. When you click on the thumbnail in your post, the second picture that comes up is the same small size. Any way you could upload some larger pics.
  15. I received my PIF from CitizenKate on Tuesday. It was showcased in this thread: http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=2931 It is absolutely wonderful. I have showed it off to all my friends. Thank you so much Kate.
  16. Johan, Painting Cow has some of those in their august 2007 free online lesson. Go to their home page and click on the Free Online Lesson button. http://www.paintingcow.com/ Hope this helps.
  17. That looks very cool. I love the clean look of the letters and the way you textured around the connection points on the back. Killer look.
  18. That's really nice work, Kate. Your stuff always shows a great deal of artistic ability. Really enjoyable to look at.
  19. From one Grumpy to another, welcome to the forum. It's a great place to learn new stuff and show off some of your stuff.
  20. I use the canned type to clean with and occasionally to slick edges. I was told a long time ago to rinse saddle soap off after the piece is clean or it will dry the leather out.
  21. Welcome to the forum. Those look really cool. Are they 8 oz?
  22. Looking good. I love those old school tat designs.
